BEWARE -THIS BUSINESS QUIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE JOB!
We chose this business for our home addition based on the quote given to us. After completing less that 1/2 of the job, the owner, Steve Cole, requested over 1/2 of the payment and then said that he could not complete the job for the amount of the quote. He went on to say that he hoped another $5,000.00 would be enough to complete it. He added that we had added on items(which we did not) and that he didn't know that the shower we wanted installed required as much water and water pressure. We told him not to worry about the additions at this time, just to complete the part that he wrote in the quote. He then said he had a bad feeling about this job and would not be returning to complete it. We will now have to find someone else to complete the job as well as the added expense of sueing this guy. This is not an honest person. Don't fall for his Bait-and-switch scheme.

This is from the owner of Cole's Plumbing, This lady is correct is saying we will not return to complete the work we started at her house. But let me tell you why. These homeowners were given a fair quote for the work they requested to be done. After the job was started, they started adding more to the job, such as wanting pex piping changed out to copper, then a new 2" copper water service brought in from the street, a steamer to be installed in there shower, another water heater, all of which was not a part of the original proposal. When they were told what the extra's would costs, they didn't want to pay for them. They thought we should do the job on the original proposal price. They were not charged the full amount of the proposed price for the job. We completed 70% of the original proposal work and they only paid 60% of the amount quoted. They also received an additional $5000 worth of work on extra's that was not yet paid for. We are an honest company, and have never had a complaint except this one since our business opened in 2005. We would have been happy to complete this job if the homeowners would have agreed to pay for the extra work they ordered.
