AkDEC should be made aware these Chemical's are in existence since the Government in the Hickle era, when there was lawlessness in what was called the wilderness, long before it ever became a Rural Community, & yes there are still contaminants buried here at the white alice site here in Bethel, & I don't see any government agencies wether State or Federal doing anything about it? homeland security killing off it's own Resident's down the road, I wouldn't depend on the EPA, they've been paid to pass the Red Dog Mine evaluation report, the worst polluted site in Alaska.

The upside to this is that the govt will use local native hire to clean up the contamination.... This will provide much needed jobs to my native brothers and sisters.

The aerial photo purporting to be the White Alice installation at Aniak in the article, is not Aniak at all. It is actually a photo of the White Alice installation at Bethel.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Scorpio

If something is bothering you, it's important that you say so now, loudly and clearly. It's no good bottling things up any longer because that will only lead to resentment and a slow-burning anger. However, it's important that you know when to shut up too, otherwise you might overstate your case or sound so demanding that you turn others against you.
