Has anyone left their dog at Wags Pet Motel in Marcellus before? How was it?

Judged:

Do not leave your dog here! We left our healthy, 2.5 year-old dog here August 09 and he died. They did not provide adequate and promised care for our dog. They did not notify us when the dog first appeared unwell. They also told us that someone was with the dogs 24-hours a day, which I don't think was true either, as the dog was “found” dead in the morning. We will never know exactly how our beloved family pet passed away because they were dishonest with us and we have heard 3 different stories about what happened. Thank you very much for looking after Dexter. We are so glad that we found Wags. We felt really happy leaving him in such a wonderful place with people who really care. We know he had a great time, was walked, played with, loved and given the same attention we normally give him at home. We have been recommending Wags to everyone.

Thank you all so much for keeping our Newfoundlands Stella and Marley. They were soooooo happy at Wags and they looked gorgeous when we picked them up (thanks to Stacey) and they look forward to coming back again and again.
Anyone who loves dogs as much as I know you all do (and my husband and I) realize what a gift it is to have such a wonderful pet hotel close by that love our animals like we do when we have to be away.

I would like to thank you so much for the excellent care you gave our dogs Daisy and Duke…both dogs were very happy when they got home, but the big change for them is that we see how puppy-like they act now…your attention and care was obvious..the next time we go on vacation,I will take them to be with you and your family…If you ever need a recommendation please feel free to ask …please tell Stacy that she did a wonderful job grooming them. You would not believe how many of our family and friends could believe they were the same dogs…we got alot of compliments…thanks again…

Thank you so much for taking such great care of my fur kid when I am away. I drive by Wags every day on my way to work and I see the dogs being walked at all hours. I know that when my dog is at Wags, she is getting the same love and attention that she does at home rather than sitting in a crate at a boarding facility.

Well, I'm sure many people have had fine experiences, but losing a pet in this way is not really worth the risk of leaving your pet with someone who does not give it the expected and promised care.
