I would like to comment on the cuurent state of the world and ask you if it bothers you that we are going to experience a catastrophe of some kind or not? The world is not a better place than it used to be. We have the imminent global warming which many prefer to ignore and matbe it will go away. Peak oil is a guarantee that the world will be a much harder place to live in in the near future. But since we are ignoring global warming that should work for Peak Oil as well. Polar switching is an unlikely event at any time. Lets ignore that too. Terrorism-now there is something we can sink our teeth into. After all it has been the goad that our dear president has used time and again to get his way at restructuring our country's rights and responsibilities to its citizens-including an unjust war that has killed or displaced millions of innocent people. Put yourself in the place of the Iraqis and tell yourself how you feel. Terrorism takes many forms. Take the terror of the American people or the terror of the Iraqi people. Which is worse? People in this country simply will not stand up for what they know is wrong. The People of America do not control their country. Politicians do and they don't care about the people. I love my coutry but I don't trust the politicians. We need a good dark age to get rid of the infestation of elected officials like so many vermin. The US has ceased to grow except in coming up with mindless electronic toys to keep people from realizing that they are the prisoners of their government. And what is not growing is decaying.
