casner and the teens writeing back and fourth

Casner you are causing your cafe to get vandalized by assuming,and critizing the teenagers in this community. To The teens that reply to casner needs to stop it is very immature to write back and fourth when the hole community reads these papers. Do you guys realize how old these papers make you sound? how old are you casner 50 something you need to let the police and investagaters handle what has happend to your Cafe and stop writeing childish notes. And the teens how old are you guys 17 15 and the teachers letting you guys write this 30's and 40,s around there isn't very adult is it i am not trying to start anything but im sick of the disrespect. The adult are pretty sick of this going on in out community.

I agree It's the same old complaint from him, but if you ask me I think he kind of likes it. I think he needs to keep his mouth shut before people start talking about some of his own daughters bad habits????

i hate to disagree but ,,,the comment about casner causeing the the teens to damage his property is one of the stupidest things anyone has typed on this site !! It really doesnt matter if you like him or not,,or if you like the things he says or not,, its about right and wrong, and the morals you teach your children. Vandilisim is AGAINST the law. I dont much care for union telephone company but that doesnt give me the right to damage there property now does it? And if you believe he gets enjoyment out of this ,, why in the name of all that is holy would you continue or let your children continue to give him this thrill. This is what it comes down to,, NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO DAMAGE ANYONE ELSES PROPERTY. FOR ANY REASON. You dont like the man? fine dont go eat in his cafe,,, if you dont like what he writes then dont pick it up and read it, easy as that!! Some of your children are out of control, that should worry you more than what some guy writes.

actually i have no kids and the thing is that the kids do it on there own the perents dont teach them to do it but a lot of people have problems with that man. Most of the people wont go down there because he sits there and complains about things happening to his Cafe and him writeing them letters is stupid and childish he is a 50 something year old man doing this he needs to let the invesigators and police handle it and this isnt only to casner it is to the teens that write back. and i am sorry but him writeing this paper causes kids to hate him.He shouldnt be saying peoples names because he dont know who did it(ASSUMING MAKES AND ASS OUT OF YOU AND ME). he has no right blameing people for something that he doesnt even know who did it. i personally think that both casner and the teens are in the wrong for this and whoever did vandalize his propety is gonna get what it dezerves have you ever heard of CARMA what comes around goes around.

It's funny how people let somebody's words get to them. They're only WORDS, and only one guy's opinion! To let them get to you means you must either feel guilty for something, or believe they are true, or have no maturity or wisdom to let it roll off your back.

If you really believe in KARMA, then don't worry about it. KARMA means that God will take care of it. There's no need for teens, or anyone else, to take matters in their own hands. Again, they are only WORDS, and one guy's opinion. From the posts on here, most people don't agree with that opinion any way, so what is the big need to prove those WORDS wrong? If Casner had proof who did it, the persons would have been prosecuted by now, so those WORDS are only his opinion, which nobody else shares.

I agree, property damage is wrong, and to let somebody's opinions lead you into doing something against the law is immature and irresponsible. If you're the parent of those kids and know your kid is doing it, then it is your RESPONSIBILITY as a parent to stop your kid. In that case, the parents are just as immature and irresponsible.

I didn't mean he likes his property being vandilised, but to keep writing about it, and talking about peoples children when he is not 100% sure it's them. I have never read a stupid letter with so many quotes in it, do you know what that means to me? That it is just opinion not fact. The reason he doesn't put names down is because he is just trowing names around. We all know who he is talking about, if it's them they would be in trouble for it by know, I mean if hes so sure to be writing about it all the time!!!

I am not really sure if you are missing the point intentionaly or your just not getting it. I think Ken Casner may need shock treatments some strong meds might not hurt either. He writes about what happens because its the only satisfaction he is getting at the momment, cops are always several steps behind, not that they dont do there jobs they just arent speedy about it. People keep going on and on about what he writes but YOU DONT HAVE TO READ IT!!! Hell dont even pick it up thats the easiest way to solve your problem.
What i dont understand is why the whole community isnt up in arms about the vandilism, what happens if its your home or buisness? No parent wants to think its thier child but ,,,its someones. it seems as a community we are more worried about a stupid rag sheet than the behavior of our children

I get the point, but like Mr. Big Mouth and yourself we are in titled to are opinion! This is not the only satisfaction he is getting, he has no idea who is paint balling his place. Lets face it he has attacked a lot of people in his right to his opinion. If what he says is true about catching the "suspects" as he was going out the back door and then chased the "suspects" if you ask me thats like holding a smoking gun and standing over the dead body, he is just rambling about the kids in town, I mean he got the wrong people the first time it happen, and attacked there persons in letter after letter. It's just people are tired of of him attacking possibly the wrong people doing it. Mr Big Mouth lies he doesn't write facts, that is why he does not put names to who he thinks done it. what about these kids who he is writing about that may very well be innocent until proven guilty. I'm sure no one thinks the paint balling is alright it's that he is sailing these kids up the river threw his stupid letters with out writing all the facts, and that is wrong!

The type of personality Mr. Casner has, is one that aches for attention, and whether it is positive or negative. The best way anyone/this community could shun, or get to, Mr. Casner, would be to totally ignore him. Don’t you think it would be very upsetting to him if he comes back to find that no one has taken any copies of his newsletter? Sure it would, and more than anything. I’m, also, pretty sure that he reads this website,(most people with the internet in Hanna do). By posting ANYTHING about him on here, only adds fuel to his fire and delight to his heart,(and even if it is negative).

Any U.S. citizen has freedom of speech and is legitimately able to put out a newsletter to the public like Casner does. Casner is no dummy. The reason he doesn’t add names to anything is because he knows that it would be a no-win lawsuit for him when the other party sued him. Unless a person can PHYSICALLY prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that another person is guilty of something, and he/she is just publicly accusing someone of something, or stating falsehoods demeaning to another’s character, if they don’t write/say into such statements that it is “their opinion”, it would definitely be an actual case of libel/slander, and one which Casner would definitely loose in court,(he can’t prove anything). He’s not dumb enough to add names to any of his pubic writings.

Maybe his goal with what he puts in his letters, is to anger these people he thinks did this, and to the point of where they’d retaliate and do it again. Another good reason to IGNORE anything he says/writes. This is the last time I’ll post anything here about Casner again, and if any of the rest of you want to truly irritate him/stop him, or at least slow down his actions, you’d quit taking his newsletters and quit commenting publicly at all about him.

Casner admitted that he baited the kids the last time. He wrote another "paper" attacking the coaches again, and put up a sign saying something akin to "Paint by Numbers". He apparently thinks he's Columbo. All he accomplished was chasing some kids on bikes. He has accused almost everyone in town for this, from the coaches, the parents, and has attacked the police, sheriffs office etc. While vandalizing property is wrong, he is begging for it. I think he has something like Munchausens, and thrives on the attention he gets. My suggestion to everyone who supports the town, the schools, the coaches and the innocent people he has accused is to simply boycott the restaurant. I do believe he is one of the trolls on here that stirs things up. He has caused more discontent in this town than anyone else lately. Does anyone know if it's true that the Senior Center had to get a restraining order against him?
He will have this forum deleted, just like the last time. He can dish it out, but he can't take it. I say we take up a collection to send him to Evanston for a while.

When did hate start overriding common sense? I have to be real honest here, if those kids would have come to my house/ buisness I would have done more than just follow them on thier bikes. i would have done more than write a bunch of stupid letters. Everyone is looking at this from a "i hate casner " point of view . But what would you do if it was you? or your property? Would you just lay down and give up , say oh they are just kids and pay to have your stuff fixed/ painted/ replaced? If you say yes to any of those questions then you are not only lieing here you are lieing to yourselfs. We have parents in this town that just dont care what there kids do, were they go, who they hang out with. That doesnt seem to bother any of you. This letter prolly wont get through to any of you haters, but in 6 months when its you getting vandilized and your crying about it you will only have yourselfs to blame

Well i guess ken casner wasnt the only one who asked to be vandilized by the town kids,, what do u think the old gym did to deserve that?

the old gym vandalism has nothing to do with the cafe. there has already been arrest in that case, and only one of the individuals involved is a minor. ironically, one of the suspects was involved with another case of vandalism, and law enforcement was aware of this, but did nothing. hopefully, we will have justice in this town with the new marshall.

it seems funny that we try to teach our children to stand up and defend themselves when they are wronged or hurt by a bully. now that they are, everyone is bashing them. kudos to these kids for standing up to a bully who has no idea how much he has hurt the people in this town. i still cannot fathom why he has such a hard-on for damaging others' reputations. i think casey moats is right. maybe he just REALLY LIKES the coaches, teachers, and boys he has been bashing.

I sure hope you're not teaching your kids to stand up to a bully by breaking the law, because that's what they're doing. Standing up to him is fine, and one of them did write a letter, which is fine. That's not breaking the law. The vandalism surely broke several laws, and that's wrong. The way it looks is that Casner has stayed on the legal side while the kids who vandalized his place have not.
