I have two commments. 1) The person is right about Donohue, He is a Democrat and the Zoning Brd. Chair is a Republican,,, so guess what, Donohue loses again and again, I would not hire him for Simsbury deals. 2) I am a local property owner and Simsbury Zoning group has gone to the pots, Where in the hell are we going to get tax dollars, if we can not help and support business.. You may not like everything someone is doing, but Hoffman has tried and is doing something that doesn't look bad... Have them move to Canton? It is bad enought that when they advertize on TV they say they are located on the Canton/Avon line.. Interesting, but I'll take the tax $$$$..

THe Hoffmans are trying to have it all at the expense of the homeowners in the area: sell the land "they didn't need" and make a killing, and then buy an adjacent piece of R40 property and have it re-zoned to B3, and ruin the value of a lot of homes in the process. The ZC needs to defend the adjacent property owners and tell the Hoffmans, "Sorry. You had your parking lot...and you sold it."

If Hoffman wants to move his new parking lot (or whatever) somewhere else..let him. And please....take that buffoon Donohue with you.
