Does anyone know who was in this wreck? What a tragic scene. Why are their accidents on such a straight and safe looking road?

Straight and safe looking roads seem to be more dangerous because people drive faster and pass more often. Lots of head on collisions as a result.

The guy wasn't 16 years old, he was 23. A student at CU, a senior. Great guy. Wonderful person. He was killed when that woman crossed over the line and hit him straight on. R.I.P. Jon, I hope he did not suffer.

I'm sorry we was told by the police he was 16 and was from Louisville as well.

As of right now there has been no one at fault. The police has been in touch with the young woman's family.

This was a sad day for many and my heart goes out to the young friends and family.

What a reminder when a loved one walks out the door, there's no guarantee they will walk back in. A reminder how one second can change so many people's lives.

Anyone know the condition of the woman? She must be heartbroken also.

Was there something wrong with the woman? Because who crosses over the road and hits a car head on unless they are drunk or just plain stupid and not paying attention, in which case they dont need a license

He was a very nice young man. I feel so bad for his family and friends. He was so loved that it hurts to think of their unimaginable pain over his lost. He wanted to help people he could have done such good work.

Question, that's a rude remark. They cut her out and flew her to Louisville. Someone said the police have not determined fault. How do you know he wasn't dialing the phone, eating or changing radio channels? Things 99% of us do behind the wheel all the time. Or an animal ran in front of one of them? Or one of them suffered a medical condition? I'd think officials would have made some kind of comment if they thought she was drinking.

He was a great guy who loved life, but even more important, he loved the Lord. This is a very hard time for our family. Life is so short, make sure you know where you are going when your time is up. He is in a better place and I look forward seeing him again and laughing with him again.

Truth hurts, get over it. We have a right to know why what happened happen because it resulted in somebody's death

Right? What right? Unless it directly affects you or yours I sincerely question your so called "right". There were injuries and a life lost. Instead of asking what happened, you speculated and then passed judgement whether someone was entitled to possess a license or not. I guess that's your right too, but nonetheless somewhat callous.

How is it that someone concerned about how a wreck like this happened needs to get a life? I'm with them. I'd like to know too what went wrong exactly. There's nothing wrong with that.
