The US Supreme Court has held marriage a fundamental right on 14 separate occasions.
And the US Constitution mandates that states provide all persons within a state’s jurisdiction equal protection of the laws.

Feel free to make an argument to the contrary, it would be factually unsupported and unconstitutional. Assuming, of course, that you could make the argument to being with.
