Although the Gamestop(TM) has a number of amazing games, and it is very close to a number of gamers houses that I know of, the staff do have some problems. I have bought a number of games at Gamestop(TM), but only with a price - and not just the price of the game. I am 17 years old with only a few weeks left until I am 18, and have gone there several times to purchase a mature rated game only to be told to go away since I don't have a state ID card. That is perfectly reasonable, but when I send my friend in there to purchase the game (He has a state ID and is 17) they also send him away. Why? They would have gotten $60 plus tax, that does not make any sense from a business standpoint. I have had to call my parents to get them out of bed many times so they could come and "tell them the game is fine." My parents have grown so tired of it they just tell me to contact a friend of mine to get the game. That's fine and dandy except that half of my friends don't want to leave to do something as stupid as that. in fact, my parents specifically asked gamestop to allow me to purchase any game I wouldn't without the hindrance of bothering them, but they still refused. Fine, you don't want to get fined, I can understand that.

But worse yet is the service provided there. There is only one person who has not given me smack there or treated me like a child. The customer service has been below satisfactory, and I know for a fact about ten people who refuse to go to the store anymore for the way they were treated. I know of many more who refuse to go to any and all Gamestops(TM) just for the way they have been treated. They say hello when you walk into a store, but after that their social skills usually hit the fan. To put it bluntly and very short, they don't give a crap about the customer, only themselves. If they aren't happy, you won't be happy.

I'd strongly recommend (from the several experiences I have had, and many others) to steer clear of at least the Gamestop(TM) in Moorpark. Although I have a rare satisfactory experience, I am usually left confused, angry, and extremely frustrated.

@ Karl. I live in Moorpark as well. I completely agree with you about our Gamestop. The staff there are not knowledgeable nor helpful. There is one guy there (don't know his name) that I think is a pedo. He was trying to get me to go for a ride in his sports car and get drunk with him. I told my parents about that and they almost called the cops!! Yeah that place sucks and it isn't the only place in town for gamers. I would recommend anyone steer clear of it.

I`ve been on the phone for about 4 min`s trying to get ahold of them, I guess picking up the phone in the middle of the afternoon is too much to ask for. This store gets 2 thumbs down. (service there sucks as well)

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Sagittarius

People around you may be insistent in their demands and they seem unreasonable, which in turn will lead to mental tension for you. There is the danger that this will dull your resolve, but the real path still lies ahead, beyond these temporary hurdles. Don't take this as a setback: there's no need to change your course of action.
