Lesbian Couple Asked to Leave MD Restaurant For Hugging, Return to Protest

Sorry guys but that video did not show anything X-rated. As a matter of fact, after watching that video 3 times, I only see one other customer in the video and she wasn't even looking at them.

The only person that was looking right at them was some male employee behind the counter and you see he walk off right as they begin to hug (presumably to run to the manager).

So there was no inappropriate activity as described or shown....and at 2AM, the term "family restaurant" is at best laughable because how many families would be out at 2AM on a Wednesday? Common sense should have kicked in here for the owner/manager since there no indication of a complaint by any other customers in the place.

Have people not learned yet that acting ignorant and bigoted is only going to bring an onslaught of negative attention and possible lawsuits to them?..LOl

and let it be known...with all these cases..remember that when you do it..we can do it. ANY straight couple caught hugging, holding hands or kissing will be THROWN out of my business!!

Would the night manager have behaved the same way had the two women been cousins, or mother and daughter, or best friends from college?

I wasn't able to view the video, so I don't know what that manager saw to make him think that the women were lesbians in the first place. Hugs, after all, are an acceptable form of affection to display in public, and often occur between two people who are not romantically or intimately related.

My wife and I viewed the one in the article and at best.......they were laughing and one laid her head on the others neck/chest area briefly.

Get some glasses.....if anyone was being targeted it would have been these 2 Black Lesbians.

How can someone be so stupid as to run a business and not be aware of anti-discrimination laws or not teach their employees about what is illegal. They will get sued, and the result is an increase in insurance costs for hard-working, honest small business people.

I think insurance companies should not cover discrimination complaints. If someone is found guilty, let them pay out of pocket or go bankrupt.
