It was her boyfriend and as a matter of fact my xwife just started dating the guy who shot the 2 people. Apparently the guy who was shot was running his mouth about being with this guys wife. Guess it will stop now. very tragic

Wow, you are some heartless rednecks, aren't you? Two people are dead here. This man was beating her, obviously a danger to society and a murderer. She was trying to get away from him. I hope he rots in jail until the time comes for him to do the same in h*ll.

No we arent heartless Rednecks,
Maybe he loved his wife?
Maybe she was cheating on him in front of their 2 children!!
Maybe she caused him to be crazy for doing things she shouldnt be doing!!!

I dont understand where its o.k. to just say I want a divorce and hop in a relationship before the divorce is even final,
Maybe some better decision making on their part could have prevented this tragedy!!!
I didnt agree with it, I just simply am sick of people acting like these situations are so innocent!!!
WOW!!! GIMMIE A BREAK!!!
Adultry is so bad, and yes Murder is also!!!
I see a reason not to do EITHER!!!!

Maybe you liberals can look at the entire picture when writing articles....

This is a major tragedy, I cant imagine what those children are dealing with right now or the rest of their family....

let's just set the record straight....none of you know what you are talking about! She was my cousin, and her soon-to-be xhusband left her 9 months ago for another woman...so who's the adulterer? She just started dating this guy about 2-3 months ago. Before you go running your mouth about things you don't know, maybe you should think twice! SO STOP THE GOSSIP!

This is a public forum, set up for people to express their thoughts on topics. It is not gossip...it is opinion.

Personally, I don't think a married person should enter into another relationship till after the divorce is final.

Estranged? What does that mean anyway? Does it mean that the marriage is over and it is okay to see someone else?

Too many couples don't work hard enough at what they committed to. Marriage is a commitment, as is any type of relationship that requires two people to be devoted to one another.

Society is what it is...marriage has become a passing commodity. If you don't like what you got, return it or trade it in for something new.

I don't like that. I don't live that way.

Oh, ok...so it's fine to just sit back and let your husband abuse you and threaten your life continuously? Yes, everyone enters into marriage "knowing" that they will do whatever it takes to make it work. I don't think that people should allow their spouse to abuse them and endanger the lives of their children. So no..it wasn't like "oh, I don't think I like being married to you anymore, I want to try out someone else"...it was more of a life or death situation, and unfortunately, it still ended in death. I don't like that, I don't live that way.

There are resources for abused women and the kids.
Women that are in abusive relationships should take advantage of them. More often than not, they turn to family and friends, many of which are not able to help them.

Abuse is a terrible thing. As this story indicates it sometimes leads to death. You and I want to help these women that are in danger. You and I are not always equipped with the knowledge and resources available.

Still...a married couple should not engage in another relationship till the first one is over.

I am sorry that this happened. I am especially sorry for the kids that were there when this happened. They will have a long time to get over it. What child wants to see or know that one of their parents killed the other?

This story is a tragic ending, to something that started out as hopes and dreams. When children are involved there are no winners, and the pain never ends.

to all that didn't know her she was a wonderful caring person. She cared so much about others. It hurts me so bad that she is gone. How could he have done this. And in front of the kids. I just can't imagine.

YES IT WAS VERY TRAGIC. UNFORTUNITELY HER NEW BOYFRIEND ENJOYED LIVING IN THIS MANS HOUSE AND SPENDING THIS MANS KIDS CHILD SUPPORT AND TELLING THIS MAN THANK YOU FOR THE MONEY AS I HAVE THINGS I WANNA BUY WITH IT. STILL NO REASON TO DO WHAT HE DID. DO NOT FORGET THIS GIRL WAS NO SAINT. STILL NO REASON TO DO WHAT HE DID.

Maybe if her new boyfriend was not spending his kids support. Maybe telling him this new man will be their kids new daddy....granted this should never have happened but it can not be easy to be told your kids will be having a better daddy and you are not to come around...

Shhh, don't say that too loud. We don't need our homicide rate to jump off the charts.

So, it is better to stay in an abusive relationship than get a divorce? If divorced from such a relationship, this religious belief only creates a social prison for the victim. This person would never be able to get married again, or be accepted by his/her community? Sounds like something from Iran.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Leo

You're really on the ball today so there's no danger of anyone tricking you or fobbing you off with lame excuses. If you suspect that a loved one is hiding something from you, you'll want to question them in a lot of detail. That's all very well but try not to turn it into the third degree, nor to make them feel hounded or bullied by your desire to know what's going on.
