2012 end of the world

Oh it's possible and probably definate! Let's not start to cry now..How many years were we warned that if we didn't change our ways of living the earth would die?

yah i see your point but still scary that 3 years to live and raising babys that wont see 3 is very upsetting. :(

I know the myan calander stops at 2012 and that nostradomus predicted an ending in 2012, however, I believe that ending not to be a complete end of the world and mankind. Even if nosrtradomus predictions, there is an after. a time where the wheel goes back to no spokes, a fresh beginning, I truly believe that something is going to happen, i don't know what but I think it will have to do with the wipeout of most of mankind, not all. Maybe a plague or a meteor and another ice age, who knows, I do believe that some will survive and I do believe that it really is a smart thing to do to stock up on canned goods and water and stuff. I know that some churches urge people to have a stockpile for all different reasons. All I know for sure is that come the year 2011, i'm stocking up on some stuff just incase something happens where I live but have to fight to survive!

What happened to the end of the world being during the millenium almost a decade ago? All good things must come to an end. Forever has to end some day....

If the world ends, it's over, it might not happen in a split second, but I don't think that water and canned goods will help in this case (though I may be wrong). Also a word about water, bottle water does have an expiration date for a reason. Another idea might be (if you have one) is to keep you pool water balanced, with your Free Chlorine number over 3 ppm, making sure you Combined Chlorine, or chloromine number is 0. Good Luck there

Yes, all these people need to do is READ THE BIBLE. You have done an excellent job explaining what the BIBLE says about eternal life. I agree with you. Thanks for your post. I hope posters read their BIBLES for answers to any questions they may have, they are in the BIBLE.

I know that's what they preach so I was just wondering, I think they say something about hearing a horn blow and getting on your knees and praying and you will be saved or something, who knows, anyway I guess none of us will find out untill it happens right.... "yeah" you will not think being born again and ready to go to Heaven is "funny" when you are left behind and go to hell. That's where you are destined IF you do NOT get saved before you die. It will not be funny.

Your 2 choices are Heaven or Hell. There are only two. You take your chances and not accept Jesus into your heart, you choose hell. You make that choice.

I will not worship a god that would send me to hell for not "accepting" his son into my heart.

Also, when did Jesus himself say anything about hell? Hell doesn't seem very Christian.

I prefer to believe that my actions are what will "dictate" what happens "to" me in the whateverhereafter.
No "higher power" should penalize anyone who lives by the golden rule.
