The leftist media only attacks Newt while touting Romney. That tells me that they think Obama might possibly beat Romney but he wouldn't stand a chance against the former Speaker.

Don't be suprised if in the primary elections, millions of Democrats go to the polls claiming to be Republicans, voting for Romney so they can get a Republican that they think their man can beat.

I think you're probably right, but since Romney is the media's choice and a RHINO, I can't support him.

Tax Man is correct that any of the five candidates are capable of beating Obama .
And to the Guest that said you really need that loser like you need another hole in the head .
Well apparently you all ready have one hole in the head so we can disregard your opinion !

I also think Newt Gingrich is the best possible candidate we have to restore our great country.
If any one watched or listen to the debate Monday night it would of been clear!
We have way too many people making a career of welfare and other government handouts !
Newt stated help the people that help theirselves!
Help those that enroll in unemployment agree to get a business type job!
And when it comes to foriegn aid don't be so will to fork money over and then try to negotiate !
Start with 0 and negotiate!
He's had experience with balancing the national debt in the past!
We all need to get past the blame game of the past and move on to a positive future !
As we know with the current administration our debt is at a all time high!
Unployment is at a all time high!
And even thou we have not seen positive change by Obama whose favorite motto was change his wife had a statement that we are not smart enough to see it !
So we need Obama 4 more years like we need a hole in the head!

I watched the debate last night and thought most of it was pretty good.

They all just need to quit going after Romney and go after what is wrong in our gov. today and how they would fix it.

Newt and Perry made the best points, or at least I thought they did.

No one wants to hear what's wrong with our country or how they'll fix it. Ron Paul has campaigned on solutions to repair our country, but most voters would rather pick their next American Idol. Have you not noticed how many of the candidates have migrated to Paul's policies as they have become fashionable to do so?
As for your last statement, I think we were watching two separate debates because Perry still brought nothing to the table. I do think Newt had the strongest showing, but he's going to tell you what you want to hear and debates have always been his strong point.

I should have chosen my words better. I meant that I couldn't support him in the Primary/Caucus stage of the election because I think there are better candidates running.

However, if he does get the nomination, he'll get my vote.

Perry scored points in his statement about So. Carolina is at war with our government. So. Carolina is a right to work state and the National Labor Board tried to keep Boeing from expanding there. What right does our government have to say a business cannot expand or build another a factory in any of our states? Would they rather Boeing had gone overseas? I am not a big fan of unions. I think they have gone from being good and looking out for workers to being big business looking out for themselves.

I don't agree with Paul on the military.

If Perry doesn't do well in So. Carolina that will probably be it for him. Santorum,(did I spell his name right) it is said he does not have very much money so unless he gets a big influx of cash he will have to drop out.

As to Newt saying what we want to hear. Well, they all do that.

Newt will be anything you want him to be, for a vote.

Newt said "Blacks should demand paychecks and not be satisfied with food stamps"

70% of welfare recipients are white.

THEN NEWT trys to soften his initial insult by adding another insult "And I'll go to them and explain a brand new social security opportunity for young people, which would be particularly good for African American males because they are the group that gets the smallest return on social security because they have the shortest life span."

If you indeed think Newt is 'your man' then it's hard to believe many of you really want a smaller government.

Wishy-washy will not be the President this country needs.

R. Perry is just too dumb for words.

Who will the republican nominee?
And Obama has been consistent with change from a bad situation to the worse shape in history .
Maybe we are too dumb too understand what he's is doing because we do not see it.
Check out the cover of Newsweek .

If it isn't Ron Paul, all the conservatives have been telling a bunch of lies or they just don't understand the issues.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Libra

Someone is convinced they're in the right under the Lunar Eclipse, and they don't care how they get their point across. If there's trouble in your neighborhood, get it sorted out by putting your thoughts down in a blog, or on paper. Don't let anyone, even siblings, treat you like this, even if you balk at standing your ground under this moody cloud. Travel plans may be upset, and spiritual pursuits, and dealings with foreigners or people of other cultures is subject to pressure too.
