Assembly candidates square off at forum

Candidates for the 54th state Assembly District faced off for the first time Monday night in a forum at Veterans Park in Long Beach sponsored by the Wrigley Association.

"The 54th District is heavily Democratic" Of course it is, by design. That's the problem. Here Paul Eakins reports it like it's an accident of nature.

No, the Democrats rigged it that way.

There was also a piece in the Sacramento Bee about a programmer up there who had a similar idea.

Judges are people with political preferences same as our "unelected" legislature. It's time to start having soical systems which work for the people instead of for the elites.
