Richardson winning big despite financial woes

Richardson needs to go, the people from that voting area must not read the paper, I don't think the story made the TV news...too bad for California, a crook in the seat at a time we need someone with integrity.

Remove her name from the ballot....why waste ink printing it?

This is a damn shame. No group is uplifted until they hold their own to a higher standard. That ought to start with who they vote for.

Worse, Richardson has no shame. She gamed the system and is now calling herself a victim but her wounds were self-inflicted. It was her own bad judgment that got her into her financial mess and that in turns calls into question her overall fitness to serve in public office.

She says she's a victim. I say the people who voted for her are suckers.

I'm amazed everytime I see another deadbeat get elected to an office. I guess the people don't care enough to vote.

Besides the house ethics committee, who we've heard will probably just be asking her to bring her financial statements (FEC) "in line" with her financial situation, who needs to be investigating this? FBI? They have a unit that goes after mortgage fraud, right?

Anyone have an inside look at how the voting went? Were the union zombies out there again, strongarming the seniors, doing what's best for the union leaders and the political machine rather than the union members themselves?

The voters who elected this woman are retards. But, what do you expect? She got the "I also bought homes I can't afford" votes. I called it last week when I said she would win. We have crooked politicians here in Las Vegas also. However, if we know what they're up to, we don't vote for them. Ask ex-Commisioner Lynette Boggs. Sadly, sometimes we don't find out until afterwards how they really are. You guys knew ahead of time. Now we know why the President doesn't get elected by popular vote.

LA Times produced a "strongly worded opinion" the morning after (this morning). They think that instead of learning from her mistakes, she might have learned another lesson altogether.

We don't have to let this continue. If her lack of credibility becomes too much of a liability, her sponsors will cut her loose.

I guess the Dummycrats in Washington DC who elected a coke dealing ex-con mayor again aren't the only idiots. Wow, voters keep selecting the worst candidate. They are stupid and those running the govt know it. They keep voting on tax increases and corupt candidates. I don't understand. I guess only a minority actually read the propositions and do research on the candidates. Very sad and annoying.

Carpetbagger Richardson should not feel too confident. Many residents vote by mail, and many of them had voted by the time this dishonorer’s failure to keep her vows, her promises and agreements, was revealed to the constituents of the 37th Congressional District. Had she not been busted, SHE certainly would not have addressed her average American situation before she was busted in order to make certain voter’s had all the facts before casting their votes. She’s a fake! Even if she stays two years, Congresswoman Waters will go and there will none!
