Vault 350, blues club up for sale

But Pine Ave is empty and dead. huh

After reading this article in the paper the other day, I was extremely upset. The Vault 350 is the only music venue that we have in Long Beach. I go every time there's a gig there and have been lucky enough to see some really good bands that helped make punk rock what it is today. They've already closed down The Galaxy, CBGB, and have threatened to shut down The Knitting Factory. Without The Vault we will be forced to travel farther distances just to hear good music. The Vault has brought many people from different cities and states together to listen to the music that they love the most. It has brought a lot of popularity to Long Beach and I just hope that the future owners will continue to hold live performances and still continue with the opening of The Backstage. Without The Vault, Downtown would be lamer than it already is!

Please do not compare the Vault to CBGBs. That's just wrong!

Ok, so some of the Vaults tix were expensive but not all of them....depends on who you know!!!(& Troof it shows that you don't know the important ones!! otherwise you wouldn't be talking about $$) But I do agree that Alex's Bar is one the better ones in L.B.!!!!! But to each their own ~ in opinions of course but it shows that (Troof) likes to talk for everyone ~~ sh*thead get a life! and let everyone else have theirs without your opinion in it!!

Were you ever there? I doubt it. It was a multiracial crowd and the place experienced no more problems that any other club. I don't believe there were any complaints filed aainst it. Now, please try to be positive. It is opens as a Latin place, I want to bring filkins there for a field trip. Reynoso and I can show hima good time.

I had a shop down the street had to leave it due to all the trouble at the "club" yes I know what went on there so don't try to glaze over it.

And exactly what type of shop was open at night? And how do you know what went on. Perhaps your shop just couldn't compete in the marketplace. Are you on welfare now?

It's all coming back to me. There was a club on Pine that was having lots of problems with the police and the Liqour Board. It was across from the movies, which means it was not the Latino Club. There was quite a bit about it in the paper. Was your "shop" across the street from Georges? I bet you ran that sex shop.

Why are you such a racist?

My comments regarding the Vault are accurate. Don't sit there and try to play it off like the Mexicans were the wild irrational ones. If I remember correctly, it was all the white Punk Rock shows and Hip Hop shows that caused the most ruckus inside and outside the building. Stop with all your Hispanic hate. I'm flattered you love to give us all your attention all but please just stop.

No they didnt. The guns being drawn, the shootings, that was all the hispanic clubs on Pine.
Nobody from belmont shore in their right mind would venture down there on a weekend night with a date.
Mexicans converge on the area, and some of them are armed. Ask the police. They hate weekend nights on Pine.
All the stupid macho hispanic crap, mixed with booze and guns. Every time I've driven through there it was really rowdy, really intense.
