The county building inspections, rules and regulations were not his idea, leaving that to townships. The Home Builders ass.oc pushed the contractor registration because they didn't want out of town contractors working in Shelby County out of the back of their pickup trucks and vans. In essence protecting their turf. Unfortunately they themselves started out their businesses out of the back of their vehicles. Ahrens was the biggest hippocrit coming from Darke County....
