2 Bigger isn't better. Proposing more new taxes (I know, just a mere 50 cents per 100 dollars) and still paying for the service if & when it's needed (as it should be) but administered under the burgeoning umbrella of city and county government is eerily similar to the Federal government assuming a monopoly on health care. I really doubt there will be one iota of difference in emergency medical services and after the first year there will be the classic eruption of needs and wants by the "Authority" and further increases in taxes, costs to the taxpaying public and typical government bloating. I would encourage a 'NO' vote on this wildly expensive method of addressing the issue. |
