The only real threat in this area is the county governments and the real estate agents. exhaust your diligent research in any potential property you may want to buy.(zoning, perc. test, Min. acreage, road access, water, elec, etc.) BUYER BEWARE in both Apache and Navajo county (the county line cuts right through Show low pines). They want you to make a mistake! It brings in revenue! so many have stopped paying their Property taxes, not just in Show low pines and relinquished their land and/or home to the county only to turn around and fish for the next sucker. Good example is minimum acre requirements. It is so easy to purchase 10 acres or more and find out later your land is not big enough to build a home! and is considered illegal in size. Back to the county it goes to be put up for auction "AS IS", county does not disclose min. acre discrepancy, another sucker, and the cycle goes on.$$$$$ Good luck people

Gray Grantham wrote: Debbie, I have a Section-Range-Township Map I can email you. That shows the locations of the various units of Show Low Pines. Show Low Pines has 10 Units. All are roughly 1 square mile except Unit 7 wich is 1/2 square Mile. The units are not contiguous, they are scatters across an area that is 8 miles North to South and 7 miles east to west. There are other Platted "subdivisions" in the area as well, including Show Low Park and Show Low Paradise which all total comprise less area than all of the combined Show Low Pines Units. The majority of the land in this roughly 50 square mile area is open range where cattle run free. Do you have any information on Show Low Paradise? I am trying to map out the Parcel we own: Show Low Paradise Unit 1 Lot 292, any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for a map in Show Low Pines, go to the Apache County web site. Taxes have gone up in some of the units because more people are improving their lots and living in those units. Plus now some have eletric available. ♠ How do I get in touch with the water association???

Miss Suzie, why not call the county building permits and get your answer from the people who know for sure, it is bad business to rely on others and their opinion unless you just want to talk to someone. Good luck.
