Now, you have the internet, Einstein get some help. You may try using the phone to get some water. Call your local county office to find out how they can help you get some running water over to you. It would be nice not to freeze your nuts off in that outhouse with the moon on it you probably almost have it filled up by now. It is idiotic when one sits there, spewing out chaw-turdbacco nonsense out on a website and not help himself by getting water into ones house.

Too bad the LDS church wasted so much money on the Prop 8 issue.

Imagine how the monies spent could have been used to help the Navajo community. Or how about the genocide in Darfur? How about the DRC?

I guess gay issues are more important that human suffering.

But Chuck and Larry being intimate behind closed doors is causing the Religites to suffer! Think of the closed-minded bigots being plagued by things that aren't even remotely their business and how it is hurting them so!

Hey Wyatt Burp I live out in the middle of nowhere with roads that get muddy, snow packed, icy, but when I need water I get myself in a truck, and get it myself, worse yet, I use my car to haul water, you can't really be that stupid to not be able to get water for yourself!

Certainly I haul it for myself, just like you do, but if the guv hauls it for Indians why not for us?

Actually, it was a poor attempt at sarcasm.

Have a good day.

I am not sure what there was about this article that none of you understood. If the trucks couldn't get in because of snow and ice then the people couldn't get out either. It also said,"A community water line broke about a week ago after mudslides in an area recently burned by wildfire." Navajo water rights are a huge issue and there are many people on the reservation without water because of that very issue. Why assume they are lazy or too stupid to get their own water.

I thought everyone praised the Indians for how they live off the earth and respect the earth. So why can't they get their own water? How did their ancestors do it, many moons ago?

I'd welcome any one of you jabber jawin' honkies to take a ride out into the rez and try to 4 wheel your way through some of them muddy roads. You seem quick to assume that those in need are "too stupid" to get their own water?*LOL* Sounds like some of you haven't been out to the most rural and desolate parts of the rez where a simple ride into town is a 3 hour or more drive. Add muddy impassable roads to the mix and your trek is even longer. As for the "shouldn't they be able to live off the land" comment, there are a lot of traditional Navajo that are willing and able to do it. However, modern conveniences such as running water and electricity aren't readily available or really needed by those who wish to live the traditional way. So, before you try to make yourself sound like the smart mouthed know-it-all you really aren't, try learning more about the culture before you open your ignorant mouth ok? It might do you some good and make you look like less of an ace.

Igor, knowing their "culture" has nothing to do with getting water. Again, get a sense of humor.

I guess it was ok to joke about the mormons, but hands off the Indians.

I don't see the humor in any of this.
Try living w/o water for at least a day.

You need water like I need water!

Why don't these indigenous people just melt the snow and use that as their water source? As long as they avoid the yellow snow they should be fine.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Sagittarius

Once again, the domestic atmosphere isn't exactly peaceful. Someone is still all worked up, and you may have come out in sympathy by now. Try to discuss things with as much objectivity as you can muster, otherwise, with Mars now retro, the conversation will soon disintegrate into a bad-tempered spat or a slanging match in which you try to catch one another out. It's important to clear the air.
