I don't know if any of you remember this or not but magee arrested the judge up in dillsburg some years back for DUI! If anything I think that tells what kind of a guy he is and that nobody is above the law. He is the man for the position and it doesn't matter who Eshbaugh or anyone else aligns themselves with. It all comes down to who people think is the best for the job not politics! magee is the one for the job! He has served these areas for 15 years and will continue to do a good job for us!

It almost looks like desperation, but why? Isn't being Chief of Police a powerful position? I'd like to see someone else in the race; someone not connected to all of these office holders, and certainly someone who is not part of the "good old boys club".

The Unconnected Candidate
York, PA

I am also running in the election for retiring District Magistrate Gerold Shoemakre's office. I am not connected with "the good ole boys" in York County. I work in the criminal justice system and have done so for over 10 years. I currently work with law enforcement agencies form the local MDJ offices to Federal and State agencies. I work with court docketing, sentencing, and court orders from York County Clerk of Courts on daily basis. I see the system work from the time a defendant is brought in front of the MDJ's until the defendant is released from prison. It has been said in many posts about fairness by the Distict Judges, well I have worked the last 10 years in a position where I was not on either side and I think that gives me the opportunity to fair and impartial.
I also believe that it's not about politics or "bashing" the other candidates. Some of these candidates have served our community by putting themselves in harms way to protect us.
I have lived in Dover for over 20 years and raised my family here.My only desire is to serve the people of the area in the best way I can and that's by listening to each case individually and impartially.
I will publically anounce my candidacy this weekend and I would honored to have the people of Dover and each Township I would represent vote for me.
God Bless You all.

I've known Dave Eshbach and his family for many years, and I can't imagine anyone better than Dave for the job. Sorry that I don't know the other candidates, but the people of York County will be very fortunate if Dave is their future DJ. Nobody asked me to post this, but I know Dave, and anybody who meets him will know he is the right choice.

Vote for Stan
Jenkintown, PA
|
If you want the most quailfied canidate by far, vote Stan Snyder. He was born and raised in Jackson Township, educated in Spring Grove schools, was employed as a Police Officer in Jackson Township. He is a great school teacher who has led many students down the right path. I know Stan will serve the residents of his district well, with liberty and justice for all. Check Stan's credentials, and see he's the clear choice for District Judge!

what the hell is wrong with a judicial system that does not require these district magistrates to be a practicing attorney, a member of any state bar, nor have a law degree? how the hell can they interpret the law when they dont even know the law? oh yeah, that's right....they take a few hours of night classes and a multiple choice exam...they should all be forced to recluse themselves from the bench and all cases overturned
