Having stayed in the campground portion of the Bayside Inn for a few nights was more than enough for me. The RV sites are quite the joke (haphazardly positioned sites and power and water but no sewer connection...hmmm, guess it isn't the full hook-up they described) and the facilities are disgusting. I was unable to tell if they cleaned the campground restroom and showers at all from the time I arrived until the time I left and at one point had to ask them to restock the bathroom as they hadn't resupplied their toilet paper nor paper towels...did I mention this was July 4th weekend? They couldn't even bother to take care of the campground restrooms on a major holiday weekend!

Message here: never go here! There are other campgrounds and hotels in the area with owners that actually care about maintaining their business...and, get this, for less money. The Manistique area was great but next time I go there it WILL NOT be at the Bayside Inn. Save your money for individuals who provide clean and properly maintained facilities to camp!
