I wish we could get real time updates on this.

what town is this in?!?!
|
|
This took place in El Dorado, CA, about a mile from my home. The firefighter planes and helicopters were flying over until about 6 pm.
We also heard that 3 firefighters were treated for heat related illness and that 80 acres were affected. |

The best way to get real-time information for now is to look at the CHP's incident site at http://cad.chp.ca.gov/ . This site had information about road closures and requests from Cal-FIRE and the Sheriff's Office. |

Thanks for the info. I checked out the site. |

I also find this link interesting:
http://sandrserve.com/eldoscanner/ I had to wait until I got something faster than dial-up to listen. Best of luck to you. |
