Los Angeles cook, father of five, shot to death over long wait for foodA

....unparented, uncivilized "urban" types murdering in SHERMAN OAKS.......years of electing politicians who sold the 'diversity" nonsense is ending very very badly for LA. Please don't think being a Democrat in other parts of the Country automaticly defines a citizen as a Loser. That dishonor is uniquely Californian.

The cook was actually the one shouting the racial slurs. The black guy threatened to beat him up. The cook attempted to throw grease on them and then ran out of the kitchen with a butcher knife. Mr. Lopez was shot in the chest about 2 feet away from the guy who was yelling at him to stop charging at him with the knife. Both parties are wrong. Sadly Mr. Lopez died but he actually was the cause of the arguement. He was mocking them. That is what caused the disturbance. Newspapers dnt always disclose all the facts. The knife was still outside on the ground after Mr. Lopez was taken to the hospital. If the police had been called before Mr. Lopez decided to go up against 5 men he would still be alive.

You are ignorant. How do u know if he was an illegal alien I guess you're assuming that because he is Hispanic. What would you have done if you were there? I did call 911. I said instead of him charging them out w a knife he should have called. He wasn't a little illegal alien u sound stupid.

Los Angeles police Tuesday released surveillance video of two suspects wanted in connection with the slaying of a 38-year-old man in Van Nuys.

Raul Lopez was shot Friday outside the business where he worked on Ventura Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department said. Raul Lopez was slain in Van Nuys on June 29, the LAPD said

Four men entered the business and an argument broke out between them and Lopez. He picked up a chair and moved the men outside, according to the LAPD.

One of the man fired a handgun at Lopez, who was hit in the torso. He died later at a hospital.

The surveillance footage shows two of the suspects entering the business.

OK Lisa, if these men where threatened by the cook with a knife, they should have called 911 themselves. But, since they were armed themselves, they would have been investigated and probably arrested. I'm sorry you had to go through this traumatic crime, but murder and a devastated family are the result. These 5 cowards FLED together instead of calling police. Not one of them had the guts to stop and turn themselves in. They need to be brought to justice as soon as possible.
