I've never been to Rooster's, but I have heard good and bad things about it. Was there really meth activity going on around there? Wow, I had no idea!

Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #8 Jul 18, 2008 I used to go to Roosters back in '99-'00 and it was developing quite the meth problem back then...The Cops used to sit by Barber Turkey and wait for patrons to leave so they could bust them...Between there, and Junqs they got quite a few of Broomfields locals with DUI's...I hung at the Night Owl for a bit, when they had two-fer happy hour, but that place changed owners like most people change clothes... When I moved out of Broomstick, I never went back to their bars...I hung in Arvada, at what's now the 12 Volt, and sometimes went to Jake's Roadhouse... Hiccups changed alot since I left CO, and Jammin' Joes move and the end of Andee & Joe ruined that bar...When I was there last Nov. I was disappointed in how much the scene has changed...I didn't get to Arvada, but will make sure to stop in when I return...
