I can see why she would be scared, and yes she did the right thing. Sad sign of the times indeed, but I had to find the humor in it after it turned out to be innocent.

I could just see those kids goofing around with a PA system, thinking they too were all alone. It is good to hear that there was no malintent in light of the recent trajedies that have occurred this holiday season. A feel good ending that made me laugh, especially the song. I remember when that was popular and it took me back to some good times.

I agree - it is hilarious, but as noted also, sad due to the times. I do, however, love GNR and just about all '80s hair bands! Good times :)

I gotta tell ya, with the way our justice system has gotten out of control these days, I'm surpised they didn't go ahead and file charges. Funny story though.

It is a bit shocking that charges weren't filed. It IS good to see that police can investigate, find that no harm was intended & NOT press charges. I mean, the DA's office up here pressed charges over a snowball, that incident wasn't as innocent as this, but it still seems pretty trivial.

My thoughts exactly. Isn't that why they call them "investigators"? It seems more and more like our system is just trying to find things to prosecute. As if they don't have enough to prosecute already. Did you see the story of that lady who toots her Broncos horn every score?
