I got the same text and I am in St. Louis, MO!! I don't think that the text is true because I have not heard this anywhere else EXCEPT via text! I agree it is a bit suspicious to me as well.

I got the text in Delaware but it's probably fake because they can't keep stuff like this a secret. It would be all over tv.

I think that we need a formal investigation before it is to late. The longer we wait the easier it is to cover up.

I just googled this incident; it appears that it is a rumor. There was an incident that did happen in Paris, TX where a black man was drug to death by two known white supremicists, and the "white people"/media are trying to say that it was not racially motivated. This happened in Oct 08.

I had received this same text in Ohio. I did a little research and I found that a reporter in Witchita, KA received it from a friend and called the Montgomery County Sheriff's dept in Conroe, TX and was told the text was only a rumor. If it is a rumor, it is tasteless and only someone with no morals would start this to create an uproar. If it is true and being covered up, God help us all.

Man i just got this text and i'm all the way in waldorf, maryland and i think it is true. The media is full of b/s now a days the best thing for you to do is research on your own. they probably want to keep it under wraps because they know the nation would go in a uproar

I don't doubt that the gentlemen was lynched, here in Texas, we have a way covering up things, denying justice and playing the Christian card. This by the way absolves us of all guilt. By the way, I am a TEXAN.

I'm in MS and just received this text. Their are schools here that are forbidding the kids from even saying Obama's name. Now how is that for forward thinking?

I live In PA and i received the same massage.. I've been researching it and i think its partly true.. The fact that it might have happened in the south is true but i didn't read that the man was lynched. It said he died in a Hit and Run accident.

Well, I pray to God this is just a rumor. I live in Jacksonville, FL and received a text about this from Atlanta, GA. If it's not it will be just another senseless death of an innocent black man and it would not surprise me at all for law officials to try to sweep it under the carpet. Just to reiterate what has been said several times already racism is still very much alive!!! Unfortunately some people are still too ignorant to judge a person based on their character and not the color of their skin.
