Teens in illegal immigrant death: sentencing for teens in illeg...

Only in America do you get sentenced for defending yourself.

I can't help but think of the two Klein brothers, and their friend who were involved in the death of the Kutztown student. They were all drinking as well, the 'friend' picked up a table leg, after the guys were arguing and shoving. The friend hit the young man in the head with the table leg and killed him instantly. They all walked over him, kicked him and walked away not knowing he was dead. The friend got 40 years for the murder, and the Kleins got 40 years for their part, but not the murder. Highly unfair. They were guilty of harrassment, but not the murder, and they get the same as the murderer?(Correct me if I am wrong). Then these guys in Sckuylkill County murdered an "immigrant" for that reason only. The words between each other started because of him being a Mexican more than anything, and they had been drinking. These guys could get nothing, or light sentances just because of the jury chosen! You can't tell me that the jurors aren't biased because of the "area" they live in??? I can't help comparing those two trials. The Kleins must have had one heck of a lousy lawyer!! All the Sckuylkill boys needed was a jury of friends and neighbors. How lucky for them!

The boys were not happy that he was living in their town. Sounds like a matter of time that this would have happened. I am not thrilled with all the illegals living in this country either, but you don't go trying to kill someone. They crushed his head open. Is that self-defense??

It doesn't matter if he was illegal or not, and yes he was, but you don't go around killing anybody no matter who you are! Dating a teenager (not a child as you state) is wrong because of the age difference, but what does what you have to say, have anything to do with getting your head smashed??

He wasn't an IMMIGRANT!!!! Someone who comes over here, after filling out the proper paper work, registers with the proper authorities, & FOLLOWS THE LAWS OF THE LAND, is an IMMIGRANT. This SCUM was an ILLEGAL ALIEN!! THERE'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!

Everyone wants to paint this picture of a humble, broken, loving Mexican crossing the boarder to send $ back to his starving family. He started the fight and called some of his "pals" to back him up. Read the minutes of the case. My great-grandparents came to America legally and did things the right way. I do not believe he deserved to be killed but they had the right to defend themselves. God knows what would've happened had his buddies showed up. They probably would've killed the American Citizens and then disappeared, easilly since they are here ILLEGALLY!

If illegals and hispanics "feel" they aren't getting the same treatment as whites, then why not return to the country they came from?

I don't know why people here still muck with the facts.

Race aside it is this simple.

4 person(s) verbally harassed another person which lead to a fight and unintentionally his death. If that person didn't die the situation may be different. Equal blame could be placed but when a life is taken that voice is silenced. Those 4 person(s) were under the influence of alcohol as well so that only pushed the situation further.

White, Mexican, illegal has NOTHING to do with the fact someone was killed.

The whole reason the other kid plead guilty in federal court is to escape the counties charges because he knew he be sentenced to 3rd degree murder.

Hopefully they get at least some time behind bars to teach them so racial "equality".

Nobody...but you...brought up the color of his skin. How many more posts before you start screaming "racist", being too uneduated to realize mexican isn't a race?

If he hadn't called his buddies and REstarted the fight, he would be alive today. If he had stayed in his country of origin, he would be alive today...and so would hundreds of thousands of American CITIZENS killed by illegal aliens in OUR nation.

From what I read, this illegal alien had a record for violence, probably against American citizens. From what I read, the hospital also pulled the plug on this illegal alien because he had no hospitalization and a slim chance of survival. At least that's ONE we won't have to fork over our hard-earned money to pay the medical bills on.

These boys were wrong, no doubt about it...but that GROWN MAN, ILLEGAL ALIEN was wrong too. If he hadn't been here, if he hadn't called his buddies to restart that fight, he'd still be alive, dating a teenager, working a job an American citizen should have and trashing our neighborhoods. Good riddance to bad (really bad) rubbish!
