Does anyone remember Cathy Beard of Ord and any details surrounding her murder?

i used to live in Ord, i was very young when this happened. my mom and her were friends.
they still have no leads.

I went to highschool with Cathy. and .. yes .. you should be careful who you talk to about this.

Just wish someone would come forward with some answers. I have a gut feeling I know who did it and how many more has he done? So disgusting people won't talk and end this.

details will never come out because of who was involved, start with law enforcement and work your way through the system! all the big shots in town would be in jail!!!!!! amazing what drugs and money can do in a small town when certain people are involved, anything can be swept under the rug

RANDOLPH, Mo.– A Missouri man has been arrested in connection with a murder in Nebraska 22 years ago. John Oldson, 45 was arrested by Clay County and Valley County Sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday evening.
Oldson was wanted in connection with the death of Cathy Beard in 1989. FOX 4 has a crew on the scene and will update this story as more becomes available.

Look into Bob Conner death from Arcadia ne as well. I believe he was murdered for knowing about the community, and law enforcement, and drug connection.

My mother was one of the people that seen her leave the bar. Everyone knew John was involved along with police & other big timers around town. She had to be careful about what she said. I was just a child at the time, but I remember that guy was one creepy s.o.b.

Also look into Bob Hopkins death. There was alot of speculation surrounding his "accident" also.
