We are constantly hearing ads about the Republicans providing adult leadership and fiscal responsibility to the Badger State. But one must ask, what is the Republican definition of fiscal responsibility?

Despite revenue shortfalls following the economic downturn that hit its peak with the Bush-era stock market collapse, it is a political fact, according to the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau, that the Democrats left a budget surplus of $121.4 million dollars at the end of 2009-2011. Prior to the Walker administration the state had a balanced budget, maintained basic services and high-quality schools and kept employment and business development steadier that the rest of the country.

Then we elected the current Walker Republican administration. Republicans claim they were trying to overcome a $137 deficit. Where did this deficit come from? We had a large budget surplus of $121.4 million. It is not because of a drop in revenues or increase in state union employee contracts benefits or pensions. Walker and his allies pushed through a $140 million spending legislation for Koch and other special interest groups. Even with this new legislation if they had delayed the implementation until it was offset by fresh revenues the crisis would not exist. But they did not. Does this sound like fiscal responsibility?

Walker argues that the tax cuts he gave the Koch brothers and other businesses will create jobs for the state of Wisconsin. However according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics Wisconsin unemployment has risen from 7.4% to 7.6% for a net loss of 8000 jobs. Evidently tax cuts don’t create jobs. To bad Governor Walker didn’t take a lesson out of the George Bush playbook.

Like Walker President Bush came into office after Democratic President Clinton left a budget surplus of $127 million dollars. Under Clinton’s administration poverty levels dropped and unemployment was the lowest it had been in 31 years. Bush proceeded to pass legislation creating a serious of tax breaks over his eight year term and yet unemployment steadily declines from 4.0% to a record 9.3%. In addition, Bush increased Federal Spending by 45% during the first 5 years in office and overall quadrupled the size of government before the end of his term.

It appears Walker is following in the footsteps of President Bush and I’m having a hard time seeing this type of economic policy as fiscally responsible. The Republicans must have a different definition for fiscal responsibility than I do. Whatever their definition is I think we are safer with the Democrats.

I'm surprised you didn't throw your old trusty race card in there as an excuse. LOL Damn it's a sad, sad day when the Bush crutch and the race card have both run their course and can no longer be used for everything from why Obama "must" be great (lol) and why you haven't shit solid in 6 months. It's even sadder (funny sadder) how you morons can't even figure out that your goodie bag of excuses no longer exists. Obama is now being forced to run on his many failed policies. Ahhh, our little boy is growing up. It's a cruel world out there when your childish antics no longer get you what you want. Whaaaa mama, Bush did it and everybody is a racist and that's why we failed so miserably. Whaaaaa!

Let's do what Obama asked of us...do the math. Wanna? You blame Bush for everything and even for Obama's big blunders and lack of leadership (we warned you idiots that he was in way over his head) You say that Bush got us into this because he added 4 trillion dollars to our country's debt in EIGHT YEARS. Now in a LITTLE LESS THAN THREE YEARS Obama has added 4 trillion dollars to our debt plus some. Obama and his band of thieves has added thousands of regulations on businesses and has choked them right out of business. More than 3 million people have been added to the unemployment rolls on Obama's watch. Obama's job stimulus wasn't so shovel ready and even Obama was forced to admit that failure even though he wasted billions on that brain fart he expects you morons to not be able to do the math. You never disappoint, do you? lol Obama's forced health care law was supposed to reform the insurance companies yet after being law for about a year or so those insurance premiums are still climbing at an abnormally fast rate. Oops...another failed pollicy. Guess the dems learned their lesson on the backs of all Americans...better read the bill before you vote it into law. lol

Obama gave billions to that solar panel company and in less than 2 years they are belly up and refuse to answer to any of the wrong they did. Another big oopsie from Obama but in the best mustered up intelligent opinion you can come up with...it's Bush's fault??? lol And even funnier is the fact that you actually believe people buy your silly excuses. PRICELESS OBAMORONS!!

Americans suffered some under the last few years of Bush but we have suffered much, much worse and at warp speed with Obama steering the bus. I'm aware that you can't admit that and wont admit that publically but you do owe a huge apology to your family, especially your children, for the pain you have caused them and the chance at a quality life you took from them by remaining loyal to the muffin messiah. Shame on you!

Fiscal responsibilty is taking billions from the school budget and giving it to billionaires. This did not help the budget one dime as unlike street walker spins. Fiscal responsibilty is arming everyone they can. Cowboy moves showed Americans. People with guns kill people. Just look at any police force. They have all killed. Fiscal reponsibility is truth in sentencing, Since it was enacted by Walker and Prosser in the 1990`s has cost Wisconsin 39 Billion. This is fiscally responsably. This is a koch addict working for his koch. A pimped out Goobiner. GOP good old pervs. Walker cost Wisconsin 40 billion because of his sick ideals before he became goobiner. How many more can we afford? Only a village idiot would support him.

Five Big Lies In Obama's Fairness Speech -- 12/7/2011, Investor's Business Daily
http://news.investors.com/Article/594075/2011 ...

Election '12: One thing is certainly true about President Obama - no matter how many times people point out the falsehoods in his speeches, he just keeps making them. Case in point: his latest "economic fairness" address.

In that speech Tuesday, Obama once again tried to build a case for his liberal, big-spending, tax-hiking, regulatory agenda. But as with so many of his past appeals, Obama's argument rests on a pile of untruths. Among the most glaring:

• Tax cuts and deregulation have "never worked" to grow the economy. There's so much evidence to disprove this claim, it's hard to know where to start. But let's begin with the fact that countries with greater economic freedom - lower taxes, less government, sound money, free trade - consistently produce greater overall prosperity.

Here at home, President Reagan's program of lower taxes and deregulation led to an historic two-decade economic boom. Plus, states with lower taxes and less regulation do better than those that follow Obama's prescription.

Obama also claimed the economic booms in the '50s and '60s somehow support his argument. This is utter nonsense. Taxes at the time averaged just 17% of the economy. And there was no Medicare, no Medicaid, no Departments of Transportation, Energy or Education, and no EPA. Had Obama been around then, he would have decried it all as un-American.

• Bush's tax cuts on the rich only managed to produced "massive deficits" and the "slowest job growth in half a century." Budget data make clear that Obama's spending hikes, not Bush's tax cuts, produced today's massive deficits.

And Obama only gets his "slowest job growth" number by including huge job losses during his own term in office. Also, monthly pre-recession job growth under Bush was about 40% higher than post-recession growth has been under Obama.

• During the Bush years, "we had weak regulation, we had little oversight." This is patently false. Regulatory staffing climbed 42% under Bush, and regulatory spending shot up 50%, according to a Washington University in St. Louis/George Washington University study. And the number of Federal Register pages - a proxy for regulatory activity - was far higher under Bush than any previous president.

• The "wealthiest Americans are paying the lowest taxes in over half a century." Fact: the federal income tax code is now more progressive than it was in 1979, according to the Congressional Budget Office. IRS data show the richest 1% paid almost 40% of federal income taxes in 2009, up from 18% back in 1980.

• We can keep tax breaks for the rich in place, or make needed investments, "but we can't do both." Not true. Repealing the Bush tax cuts on the "rich" would raise only about $70 billion a year, a tiny fraction of projected deficits. With or without the Bush tax cuts, the country can't afford Obama's agenda.

Obama's continued dismal approval ratings suggest that voters aren't buying into these lies - yet.

But they might, if he's able to endlessly repeat them without a peep of protest from the mainstream press.

Obama and the democrats create and cover up the Fast and furious program which resulted in the death of a Us border agent, and when the congress investigates the incompetence and cover up by holder, he calls them racist.

the same corrupt attorney general that failed to prosecute one of the most blatant acts of voter intimidation in years.

http://biggovernment.com/awrhawkins/2011/12/1 ...

and lets not forget the green job scandals of taxdollars payoffs for contibutions to solyndra and others.

the incompetent response to the gulf oil crisis,

the millions spent in extravagant vacations and separate planes for obama and his wife,

the million dollar date night,

the shout outs in response to terror attack at ft hood,

the lives lost because of his using war strategy in afghanistan to make political points,

the lawsuit against boeing in north carolina,

the endless golf, basketball and concerts while the rest of us suffered unemployed,

the attacking of americans who dared protest his incompetence and corruption by attacking the tea party,

the attack on the cambridge police who obozo said acted stupidly,

the lawsuits against the state of arizona,

obozo the buffoon is clearly the worst president in the history of america.

Supreme Court delivers a knockout punch to the White House
Fox News ^| Peter Johnson Jr.

Wednesday the United States Supreme Court delivered a knockout blow to the White House in the cause of religious liberty.

Chief Justice John Roberts, writing for a unanimous court swatted away the government’s claim that the Lutheran Church did not have the right to fire a “minister of religion” who, after six years of Lutheran religious training had been commissioned as a minister, upon election by her congregation.

The fired minister -- who also taught secular subjects -- claimed discrimination in employment. The Obama administration, always looking for opportunities to undermine the bedrock of First Amendment religious liberty, eagerly agreed.

There was just one big problem standing in the way of the government's plan: the U.S. Constitution. For a long time American courts have recognized the existence of a "ministerial exemption" which keeps government’s hands off the employment relationship between a religious institution and its ministers or clergy.

Here, in this case, the Department of Justice had the nerve to not only challenge the exemption’s application but also its very existence.

But, Chief Justice Roberts pushed back hard, telling the government essentially to butt out:

“Requiring a church to accept or retain an unwanted minister, or punishing a church for failing to do so, intrudes upon more than a mere employment decision. Such action interferes with the internal governance of the church, depriving the church of control over the selection of those who will personify its beliefs. By imposing an unwanted minister, the state infringes the free exercise clause, which protects a religious group’s right to shape its own faith and mission through its appointments. According the state the power to determine which individuals will minister to the faithful also violates the establishment clause, which prohibits government involvement in such ecclesiastical decisions.”
