Your child must be punched out by an adult for anything to be done

My son on a visit with his dad, Steve Hansen, works for Steve and Berry's allowed his son to be threatened, by a neighbor. His neighbor, Matt fisher raised his fist to punch my son but stopped himself and threw him out of his house with his dad. Matt was drinking and out of control. Because he did not punch my son out, all is good. I have to wait for it to acutally happen before anything can be done. My ex is in a love affair with matt,so that is why he will do nothing. Matt Fisher works for Pliant company in Chippewa falls and is beloved by many. Why? His own daughter is messed up? My son is also being "felt up" by the daughter of the guy that runs the Sears in Rice Lake. Can't do anything about that eithier, because she has not actally sexually assaulted him. I truly now understand the frustration felt by many single parents. I do not want to bash Rice lake cops (they are good people) but what the hell?

oh ya the kid has to have bruises or marks on him or her for anything to be done.even after a report is filed..and even if the person is a sexual preditor or child killer.so dont waste your time

My son is 7 and I did file a police report. I put where these guys worked so you know who these guys are. These kids are 4,5, and 7. These guys spent a weekend drinking and mistreating during placment time. Of course, there are always people like you who defend abuse and neglect. That is why it goes on. As a women who is smaller then this guy, I doubt I can "knock him out" no matter what names you call me.

well do something about it,if it ever happens again don't let your kid go with his father anymore until something changes.if you do then you should be help accountible for what happens because you let it happen.thats the problem with parents around here they let all kinds of things happen and know it and b i t c h about it and then they let it happen again and again.thats when they should be the ones in trouble for it!!!if theres a court order for the kids to go with the mother of father to bad let it go to court then explain what happend in court.piss on the court system..your the parent if that shits going on around your child dont let them go near the bull shit..use your head

I only have my son's word. Clearly, you have no clue about this issue dallas person. I have a court order to send my son there. I agree with shane, and with this, I will wait and not send him there until I can get a court date. I moved out and left my ex because of this bs and I am very bitter that I have to keep going through this. He is BS'ing everyone, with this bull*(()! These two losers really believe they are great parents! These two have never raised a child! I have two older children in college and another in graduate school. I have had two relationships, one 18 years and this one was 8 years. My ex, of 8 years, as seen his son 8 visits in 2 years and bashed me for accepting congrats from my son's teacher for raising a good boy by myself with no help. I cant take it anymore, nor can I stand being bashed by people who do not get what is really happening. My ex was a good dad, met this guy Matt Fisher he is in love with, and changed to an evil person. Matt is an alcoholic and my ex is from an alcohlic family prone to this stuff and is his beloved. I dont care about the relationship these two have, I just want my son out of this mess.

I know steve, he spends a lot of time making guys happy. Matt lucked out being flavor of the year! That way he can continue to drink on someone elses dollar!

Irresponsible parents don't deserve rights to there child and damn sure don't pay enough for the responsible one to take care of them. It is a shitty system out there. The only thing left to do is protect you child no matter what that means. It is the other parents loss if they want to dive head first into a liquor bottle instead of spending time with there child. People like that don't deserve the child's time anyway.

There has been rumors going around about these two for some time, before we split up. However, by law you cannot withold visition for that reason. Steve is in an obsessive relationship with Matt, I dont deny it. It is a big part of why our relationship ended. The court still can order my child to visit there. I dont want my child there, I dont have a lot of choices.

We got away from the point of this. My son has come home from visits saying Matt prances and sings around the house how great he is and what a good Dad he is. Steve is convinced 6 drunken visits in a year qualify him for dad of the year. My point is these two should no longer be trusted around children. When I lived there with Steve, Matt held a birthday party for his daughter. He had been drinking for a day and a half and people still left there kids there with him. Clearly, he is now out of control. If they are hot for each other, then that is their thing, if they want to smack on kids, I will call the cops, human services and go to court if I have to. Steve has bragged about Brad from Walmart and Keith from Sears.(they are wrapped around his finger) Makes me wonder about Rice Lake these days!
