Oneal is a great place to work if you WORK. If your a worthless f then your guess what they will let you go with the RIF. It's a business so just like everywhere else in the world there slow. They aren't hiring people so don't know why your asking if it is a good place to work. Trashy place don't think so. Go talk to Oneal staff if your that intersted in there business. Best of luck!!

yea they will work you to death and pay you all but nothing! my hubby worked overtime every day and all weekend long and we were still pushing the broke barrel. and now with all the lay offs and cuts on hours...not the best place to work. I'm so happy my hubby switched jobs to one where he actually makes money and gets to spend time with his family!(oh and wife....my hubby worked there for many years so i kinda know what i'm talking about)

That is awesome..glad your having family time now!! The hours being cut was only down to 35 they haven't worked all weekend long in a very very long time..did he work the weekend shift. There pay isn't bad..yes I agree it's not what some steel factories are paying actually I made more when I decorated cakes for kroger @ kroger then some of the men that had been there for years. But it's a JOB and if you bust your ass and do your job then no worries unless the business closes the doors. Thanks

Well I DO work there....and have for many years. The place is great and pays very good money for us that work...if you don't make good money then you are a lazy arse. It is not moving to Indy, we are back to regular hours and working overtime...if it looks like a dump to you then stop looking....every person that used to work there complains about what a bad place it is and how they are doing so much better now.....bull Sht!!!!

I also work @ Oneal and have 10 + yrs in , I would like for you to show me a business that doesnt "screw over " someone for starters .. You show up to do a job . You realize it is a steel processing center right? Steel is heavy and dirty , Busting you a@@ is what most of the people who have been let go is what we refer to as a days work .. Bottom line is you get what you reap . No we are not moving to Indy and no we are not shutting the doors in our Shelbyville facility .Knauf layed off twice as many people we have , and they do that every year .. First layoff in company history was this year .. I can think of who these people you talk about are because the good employees are still here ...

Daily Horoscope for December 17

Leo

If you're going to a festive party or gathering today you'll have a great time. It will be good to see some old faces and nice to meet some new ones. Don't be shy about breaking the ice if you spot someone you'd like to know better, as with Mars in your sign dancing with Venus in fiery Sagittarius, bells will ring and fires light up. Get the last of those Christmas cards out of the way now, so they're not on your conscience.
