make recycling easyer it will help a lot right now,. a lot of the trach paper glass and metals can be recycled but the system that is in place is a hardship on some that want to recycle

"The Florence Golf and Country Club is for sale. While the city and other entities have expressed interest in the property, there's been no announcement yet of a formal offer."
The 'formal announcement' was made on Friday after the CC board approved the offer presented by the city. Several details have been printed in the TimesDaily if anyone is interested in reading more about it.

I agree with this. Lauderdale county should start a county wide recycling program and that would cut down alot of things that are going into our landfills.

I take alot of my recyclables to Limestone county because it is convient to run by and drop things in the recycle bin. Why can't Lauderdale co. place recycle bins in various locations throughout the county so those of us who desire to can drop off things that could be recycled?

also would this plan not create more jobs at the recycle plant if more people began recycling?

I think this is a solution to cut down on trash that is dumped in our county landfill.
