What's up in Wisconsin? WHy the heck did they let him off wih just a citation the first time? Maybe they need tougher DUI laws there.
If he would have killed or injured someone, there could have been a HUGE lawsuit.

Depends on the laws there, but here in Kansas, if you get a DUI and have no priors or didn't resist arrest, you can be released to a relative. However, the relative has to sign paperwork saying they take responsibility for that person until they are sober. So the brother could face charges as well (unlikely anything would come of it though).

We are just in-processing an inmate in prison for felony DUI. Washington tightened up the drunk driving laws and if you get five (or more) within a ten year period it is a class B or C felony.

No half time on that one either because it is considered a crime against people, much like an assault would be.

I think the public is tired of the innocents being slaughtered, while the drunk goes on his/her way and does it again.

I think the public also gets tired of the innocent babies and children being slaughtered by the satanic FBI child abductors, While the FBI goes on his/her way and does it again.

Because, Wisconsin is a state with not only the most beer drinkers, they are professionals - this story doesn't surprise me in the least - afterall, he had to drive TO the bar, didn't he?

here, in the uk,,,, if you get caught,, your held,,, they contact a family

member to come and get your car, if it is on the road and in an unsafe place

they tow it away and you gotta pay 120 quid to get it out of the garage.

Wisconsin probably has the most lax DUI laws in the country. I read the headline, then saw where it was from. DUH where else? But things are changing. Things are going to get tougher for those with ""SEVEN"" or more DUI's, look out drunk drivers Wisconsin is cracking down on you. Instead of one slap on the wrist, you're going to get two. And only two bottles of booze in the car at a time. You can't hardly smoke a cigarette outside of your own home anymore, but you can speed up & down the streets & hiways drunk on your a**. On Wisconsin!!!
