Religious Group Owns Dozens of Properties in Shawano County

Every legal measure should be taken to show these cult followers that this is America and their threats will be dealt with as a terrorist act. The FBI and any and all other appropriate federal agencies should be crawling all over these people. It makes me mad that any cult or group thinks they can threaten a community. Foreclose and sell the properties that are delinquent in taxes. Full investigation and IRS aduit, pull these people through every knot hole that is legally available.

you just cant leave them alone. now you say they threaten people. they would never. small town people that have never been even out of state.

who knows the truth? time will tell. and in the mean time, think about how sometimes groups get a 'bad wrap' because of fear of not understanding their beliefs - that causes a community to reject a group, even harass. what would a caged bear do if it was teased? now i am not saying that it is ok to have a hit list of 60 peoples names - but who knows if that is even the truth!? I hope not. When a group holds ideas that are 'different' from main stream society or the community it lives in, it is easy to just believe things said about them (ie hit list) just because it seems like something they must have done, since they are different. it could be true, but let's let the FBI handle the facts and save all the judgement for if someone is proven guilty.

I was recently in Shawano and heard about the cult. I think that it is creepy and if I lived there I would move far away. They all dress the same and act the same. It is very frightening. I feel sorry for the people who live there. Get out before he kills you all!

What exactly is an "Implied Threat?". That could be about anything. The open minded citizens of Shawno will soon look like the torch carrying mob in Frankenstein soon if the follow the lead of the city officials.

Why don't you just burn them out like Waco? Just don't forget to manufacture your souveniers first so you can cash in on the national media attention. Oh yeah, I forgot The Big Bad Scary Cult owns most of the reasonably priced businesses here.

Well my wife and I went to eat at their restaurant and they were more then kind and ample amounts of food plus lit our candle to create a mood at our table ... I wasn't afraid to take my family there and was treated well and even invited us back on Friday for all we could eat shrimp ..WOW But you know if the problem is as others say they are not up to par on their taxes then that is between them and the Government... But if others give them a chance to be nice they surely are ...

Well went to their restaurant again and they actually have this Chef and he throws out some great food and presentation is artwork !! and we didn't see them acting like they are being treated for wanting to live a different lifestyle ... But most are missing out on some good food because of hysteria ...

These people have been In this community for a long time.
I have never had any problems with them. I Think we should all look
into the city officails and there corruption!!!!!
