CEO may be busy, but his company finds time to right wrong

32 years old and six children? Is that supposed to be an excuse for ripping people off? If so, maybe he should have spent some of the deposit money on birth control...

i read with interest about shannon dishong.

about july of 07 i undertook some construction work for them at a job in orlando, needless to say i was taken for $17,000.00
and have also bad checks from them.

I reported all information to the police in orlando orange county and seminole county all refused to undertake any action.

i reported them to the state attorney with the same respose.

i even reported them to the better busines beureau with no response.

to make matters even worse the home owner in question was there insurance provider and he told me that they had bounced his check but stillowed them to carry on knowing they had no insurance.

when i informed the home owner i would lien his property his reply was i am not moving so go ahead.

i even had other people with bad checks and still no help.

my only thought is to open a company and run up hundreds of thousands of dollars in bad debt and carry on.

the sad part of this is that if the police would have done something 8 months ago may be a few people would have been saved

Just wondering if anyone has been paid from this company - Cashback America? I just sent in my rebate on 2/15/08 and by the looks of things, I too will be frauded from Cashback America. I did everything to the letter on thier contract. Is there a class action law suit or has the Attorney General's Office done anything? If anyone is finding results, I hope that they share. I have just recently been taken by Shannon Dishong and Capitol Construction & Development Corp.
I have paid out over $35,000.00 towards a $60,320.00 to Shannon Dishong with Capitol Construction & Development Corp.$13,000.00 was given to Shannon Dishong to give to the cabinet company as a 50% down payment. One month later I asked the cabinet company how the cabinets were going. To my amazement Shannon Dishong had never given him the money I gave him to give to them. At this point he owes, the plumber,The dumpster Company, The port o potty Company, the tile company, the cabinet company,and Ive herd some employees.
The above was just a start, I have a list of many others who have been left in the negative from Shannon Dishong and Capitol Construction and Development Corp. Please do your own research on Shannon Dishong & Capitol Construction & Development Corp. A Good place to start is with the Department of Regulations ( 5 Pending Complaints) and the Orange County Clerk of Courts ( numerous Law Suites)

shannon dishong is a great liar and really had us all fooled.

We sent in our rebate in March for a piano we purchased 35 months ago. I called today and as you know their phone number and website was no longer active. I knew it was a scam. Like you, please contact me if theres any kind of class action lawsuit. And shouldnt the retailer be responsible as well, they were the ones promoting the items.
Please some one find a picture of these 2 guys and post it online, on Youtube, on all the message boards so they can be known to everyone they ripped off.

I sent in my rebate back in 2006 and actually got a letter in 2007 congratulating me that my rebate was processed and approved. Still no rebate. Please let me know if a class-action suit.

I was a receptionist for CCDC from Oct 2007-Feb 2008. Both his comptroller and I stopped going to work for them because they were unable to pay us. To date, we both still have money owed to us by CCDC. But no, in response to your inquiry about me being bailed out of jail, I have never been to jail. I'm sticking with my original statement, I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with Shannon Dishong on a professional level. He truly is nothing but trouble.

I have a judgment for 42,000.00 against Capitol Construction & Development CORP.

I am hand walking this through the Department of Regulations.

It is now being forwarded to the state Attorney for criminal prosecution.

For the State to file criminal charges against Richard Perlman they will have to prove intent.

INTENT laws require the government to prove that a defendant took property "with the intent to permanently deprive a person of the property." To convict a defendant of theft, the government has to prove that a thief's plan was to forever part a victim from his or her property. For example, a culprit who drives off in another's car without permission and returns it a few hours later might be convicted only of "joyriding." However, the same culprit who drives off in another's car without permission and takes it across the country probably demonstrates a specific intent to permanently deprive the owner of the car and would be guilty of the more serious crime of car theft.

Shannon Dishong is in the Stark County Jail In canton, ohio arrested on WARRANT FOR ARREST OF FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE and is awaiting EXTRADITION back to FL. Cant wait to see him!

Alyssa honey, he's a thief and scam artist. He took money from people, didn't pay employees, didn't do the work. If it was your money that you paid someone for something and did not get the product or service in return how would you feel? We are not talking a couple hundred dollars, we are talking thousands. Think about how all those people feel. They worked hard for that money and he just took it. It's gone and they don't get it back. Put yourself in their shoes. What he did was wrong! People have a right to be angry.
