Beware! Jerry Duke is watching you

Jerry "Flynt" Duke reminds me of Larry Flynt because he's desperate for attention and just a trouble maker trying to provoke people. All he produces is useless repackaged crap and he has all kinds of predetermined ways to get out of something, all under the name of free speech. Just like Larry Flynt.

I believe Jerry is a dangerous and reckless person because he has repeatedly admitted that he has OCD and must have things a certain way. There's no telling what other ideas that OCD has manifested in his head. Jim Jones and David Koresh come to mind when you see how the members gather around and protect him with such aggressive voracity. It's really nauseating. I also highly suspect he is collecting information about his members and others in the area known to not like him or his ways as well as "friendlies" just in case they decide to disagree. J Edgar Hoover, who was the first director of the FBI, also collected information about people because he was quite a paranoid person and was also found to be a cross dresser. Anyway, Mr Hoover was known for keeping secret files on people that he thought were out to get him so he could use the information against them if needed at a later time.

Jerry demonstrated his intense and focused desire to discover two Topix posters' identities a while back when he said with great confidence,'l'll found out who you are" and then shortly after stated very proudly and confidently "I did some digging and know for a fact that **** & **** are the same person" but he still didn't know their true identities. Wow! What a discovery. So what's the point? Jerry has stated several times on his board that he can see ALL member information, he has confirmed that he has the option to monitor private messages and that he can view IP addresses assigned to each member. As stated by RNW management, it should be noted that most all boards provide those tools to management. However, considering Jerry's own behavior and what he advocates, promotes and allows on his board you should use caution when posting there.

Jerry is no stranger to litigation, especially the laws concerning message boards. He is also an expert at insulating himself from liability stating that the law cannot hold a board provider responsible for comments made on their site. Believe it or not, that law is true and he exploits it to the max. He uses intimidation to manipulate the situation as described below in the BOE incident to try and prevent legal action. His naive members don't know that it is THEY that will be held responsible if someone decides to sue over defamatory comments. But he states he'll defend them up to the point where he's forced to provide their names but then they're on their own. Jerry likes to create provocative threads on his board and let the blood bath frenzy begin while he sits back watching and knowing all that time that he's not going to be responsible. I decided I had heard enough when he said

I'd have to agree with the Larry Flynt comparison. The romegasir character isn't helping Jerry's reputation any but he doen't seem to care. The fact that he even associates with someone like that is enough to discredit him from being taken seriously. Does he not see that? Romegasir just spews endless, meaningless comments and epic monologues (2300+) across several message boards that don't seem to make much sense to anyone but himself.

Jerry can't control what romegasir says outside of RNW but you would think that if he really was concerned with his own reputation, he would use romegasir's "privilege" to post on RNW as leverage to not make a fool of or represent him (Jerry) or RNW any further if he continued his reckless behavior outside of RNW. But Jerry does nothing.

Well, Mr Duke had better hope he doesn't screw up anytime soon because the Rome News has a file on him just waiting to be shared.
