More proof that smoking is no longer thought of as cool, not even "Kool". More power to them with the smoking ban. They are just doing what most or all Cos. will be doing in the next few years.

Then quit making choices to smoke around others who don't appreciate it or have bad allergic reactions from it (asthma). I have the right to tell you not to smoke on my property, what makes you think this employer doesn't? You can't get drunk at work can you?

There's really not much we can do about it, it's denso's property and they're not going to tolerate smoking on it anymore. But at least they're being nice about it, offering help and paying for medicine to help employees kick the habit. Even though you may not like that they're being "nice" about being "unfair" in somepeople's opinion.
I think that eventually, cigarettes are going to be outlawed, and treated like illegal drugs. When people first started smoking back in the day, it wasn't known the adverse health effects until everyone started to become addicted. I am glad something is being done to cut down on smoking in public so there won't be as much second hand smoke, but I feel for the people who do smoke.

Why dont you guys just quit smoking? I mean, you'll save money, you'll live longer and healthier. You wont be fiending for a cigarette every couple minutes. You wont smell like smoke. I mean the negatives of smoking far outweigh the positives. All that just so you can feel a little relaxed? Besides, once you get passed the cravings, thats it. You wont even miss it. Your like a slave to the cravings anyway. It just seems like the natural way to go.

Actually, that's the location of their service provider, based upon their IP address. This is easy enough to disguise, and some addresses don't correspond to a location.

Or do you /really/ think that some people on the forums here live in "AOL"?

So how was I whining and complaining? According to your logic, everyone who has an allergy to something should move. I bet you have an allergy to common sense and medical science, so maybe you should move to Florida. Asthma attacks are no laughing matter, moron, especially when it gets triggered by some belligerent smoker such as you disregarding other people's rights to clean air.

Well, You will be forced to comply with the Ban in public. For those of you who want to keep being stubborn about complying... You may be bringing more heat upon yourself. Keep it up and the lawmakers may just inact laws that will send you before a judge. You won't be smoking at all if you end up in jail for a few days.
