Mayor and City Clerk What happen?

Heard Mayor and City Clerk were gone.

City Clerk McCormick was fired by the board of alderman on Thursday night. Mayor Jerry Miller resigned on the next day. I heard they have been bumping heads for a long time. Very sad but the city must move on. I do wonder if the blood letting is over or if they plan more firings. The city has some good people and the board now needs to build some confidance and let the workers do thier jobs. I don't think people work well if every day they come to work and wonder if they are going to be fired today.

About time those two mischief makers were gone.

isn't it a shame that the Seymour Paper will write about the firings/resignation but not one word was typed on the Sanders issue. As far as i am concerned, that was a bigger story than mccormick/miller. What could possibly be going on?????

Free press? what a joke! I've tried for a month to get the story covered. Dan wont print negative words about those he supports. Thats why Seymour citizens are so screwed up, we get only rumors and heresay as opposed to the facts, and the story changes everytime its told. I've written once that Dewayne is the good ole boy, wifey works ant the bank and related to half the county, however, before our new Mayor gets to excited about pushing Ross out the door, he may do well to remember the skeletons in his closet....his little girlfriend was caught stealing from the fire dept...sorry, but if I was embezzling money, my boyfriend would be seeing plenty of it...catch my drift? now...easy access to City finances....and the plot thickens...

okay i read it. i get it except for one thing. what does it have to do with the clerk? or the mayor? do they not like the chief? or do they not like sanders? i really want to know! i get to vote for the first time in the next election!

That's ridiculous and everyone nows it. If your mad at her and you don't like her, at least be adult enough to have your own reasons! Don't start ugly rumors! This is supposed to be a forum, not a lynching. People are interested in the truth. Give it to them. The truth is ALWAYS better than fiction anyways!

ok for one gidget 1969 shut your mouth about the "mayors" girlfriend she made a freakin mistake and made up for it in FULL! Therefore stop bringing up old dirt thats been thrown away. She has nothing to do with the whole mayor situation, and also "the mayor" i know would never do anything to that attempt, this is his home town why would he want to mess something great up! So again get a flippen life and stop bashing others!
