I'd like to know more about what is happening down by Hwy C and Hwy P. People reporting the paranormal and seeing unexplained lights. Anyone seen these lights/ufo's, or know any info on it?

I am an eyewitness. Cant explain what they are or who they are. Just know what I saw. People are quick to slander things they don't understand. Fred's just reporting what he has been told. Give him a break. Everyone thought he was crazy when he was reporting about the bears, but then a dead one appears on the front page of the paper. I wish I had the answers...but I don't. Too scared and embarrassed to go public. Funny thing is, I can name at least 18 other people who have had the same stuff happen to them. Are we ALL crazy? Maybe so.

Your claim of being an eyewitness is extremely vague. You do not say what you're an eyewitness of. If you want anything you say to be taken seriously (obviously you do which is why you're posting) you have to say what you saw, and under what conditions.

Fred is reporting on alot more than what he is told. Fred is reporting that he is being constantly harassed by the MEN IN BLACK. Fred reports what he is told as fact, rather than fiction. A journalist must get facts, and do research, and determine rather or not what he has been told has truth behind it. If Fred wants to be taken seriously, like you, he has to have rigorous fact checking methods like a journalist, or else he should take up a job writing childrens fictional space adventure books.

The bears have a COMPLETELY logical and scientifically researched explanation.

Why would you be too scared and embarassed to go public? Afraid you will get caught up in a twist of lies and suffer the humiliation from that?

And how is it funny that there are at least 18 other people reporting the same experiences? I find it saddening that 19 humans living near me have such miserable and depressing lives they completely fabricate wild stories to make themselves feel important and that some looney is championing their stories in the local newspaper. Is this really what you want your local youth to be reading? Their minds have not fully matured yet and are easy to influence with this complete nonsense. Do you ever wonder why America as a whole is an academic failure?

How pretentious is it for you to assume our lives to be "miserable" and "depressing"?! You are one of "those" who attack and condemn what you don't understand. As far as the youth, they are having experiences too! What am I supposed to tell them?! How dare you! Maybe I'll have them call you! I'll also have the doctor in springfield call you too! I'll tell them that you have ALL THE ANSWERS! I'll tell my daughter that you know what that strange burned symbol on her stomach is! I'll tell her that her memories of the creatures that did it to her was just in her head! Her own doctor cant even explain how that 'burn' could've been put there without the normal tissue damage. What do we have to benefit from telling lies? Think about it? Nothing! However, we risk much to talk about it! We would like some answers!
You don't have to believe us (i wouldn't if i was in your shoes) but I would be cautious to "have all the answers" and cast judgement on people who are your neighbors, school teachers, business owners, farmers, vets, suday school teachers, nurses, real estate agents, and CEO's.....I guess we are all crazy and you're the only one right????!

What would an alien stand to gain by apparently branding (by your definition of symbol) your daughter? Do you think there is some alien species out there who is going around planet by planet, and branding a small percentage of their population for later identification? Perhaps they will later have a "human harvest day". Maybe the government will make the knowledge public, and will hold a "lottery" as to who gets harvested and who doesn't. Should we try to bring back human sacrifice to appease the gods and rid of us this terror? Maybe the story of War of the Worlds is true? LoL!!! I can only share what's happened to me. I can't explain it. I don't have any answers. I don't care if you believe me, there have been times when it's even hard for me to believe because I can't give a "logical" explanation. I would probably think I was absolutely nuts if it wasn't for all the others who have had the SAME experiences.

I currently live in the area and I was outside one night on the porch and saw some really strange lights. They were blue/green and they zipped across the sky...quickly. I don't know what they were but found them to be really..really strange and yet fascinating. Not saying it was a ufo but I don't know what they were..I honestly have NEVER seen anything like it. Anyone have any answers???

One other thing...Logic101...is it really fair for you to call names and be so verbally abusive to someone? It shouldn't really matter to you if Neighbor's story is real or fictional, should it? I don't see the point in getting so angry about it...it's really not directly affecting you. Sometimes it's just better to laugh about things and let it go then it is to get so angry and negative. Everyone has a right to be who and what they are, whether they are being serious or just plain creative.. I don't think it's fair for you to make them feel bad about them self. If God created us all the same...don't you think the world would be a pretty boring place? Nobody is saying u two have to be friends...but is it really necessary to become enemies over a UFO subject?

It doesn't matter if i am from Lithuania or Seymour. The point is people make claims without evidence, and expect others to believe. There is no evidence, hence it did not happen, just like every other story you hear from a small town full of inbred halfwits.
Idiots do not understand the implications of what they are saying. Seriously, its Seymour, what would aliens want from the people there? What would an alien stand to gain from beaming up a cow to its ship, mutilating it, keeping ONLY its anus, and then beaming the corpse back down? Does this make sense to anyone? It only makes sense to people who cannot comprehend the implications.

Research real science, its far more fascinating than these vague stories that have no evidence and NEVER will.
