What is the latest outrage? What are they spending our money on? Who are they protecting? Who and what are they trying to destroy? Where and when are they meeting in secret? Why? Who is pulling their strings? Who are they talking to? What are they doing for them?
This group bears watching, even if just for the entertainment value of their ludicrous machinations. Post it here!

Latest outrage? alderpersons are inept and we cant do anything about it until next election. SPENDING? on Dewayne Sanders. PROTECTING? Dewayne Sanders. DESTROY? the good hard working citizens of Seymour and the town, it is only a matter of time. MEETING? the alderman meet every chance they get, in secret. It might be at one of the alderperson house, might even be on the street (we are watching you). PULLING STRINGS? Dewayne Sanders. TALKING TO? Dewayne Sanders. the alderperson seem to think Dewayne is some god and he could single handedly run the city police dept, ha ha ha... DOING FOR THEM? The city has decided to send their (what they consider) top cop back to the police academy at the City's expense. The City Council is only concerned about 1 person, why? no one seems to know. He's got his nose so far up there, there is no way he can get out. To hell with the rest of the town.

I hope im doing this right. I just found out about this stuff and Im mad as heck. Is that boy that thinks he is a cop still on the board? I forgot his name but he drives a jacked up hot rod truck. Anyway he spends alot of time with Dewayne riding in his cop car and stuff.I know one time a cop had us stopped and Dewayne drove by in his cop car with that boy in the passenger seat I guess to show him the pretty lights and stuff. I could tell he was really getting off on it, my wife thought there was something wrong with him. I think they are pretty close friends. I wonder how or if he voted on this if he is still on the board? That could be a big deal.

The aldermen meet twice a month and anyone can go. It is Tuesday or Thursday the 2nd and 4th of the month or the 1st and 3rd. Just go in and sit. If you want to bring something up then you have to submit it at City Hall ahead of time to get it on the agenda. These people are so yesterday. But others need to step up and challenge them. In DC too. If a good number of people came to the regular meetings we would get their attention for sure.

Do you really think that if we all show up at the meetings that the city council would even realize we were there and had a beef with them. they can't even make a decision to terminate someone when someone is derelict in their duties. not only was sanders so is the city council, they were derelict in thier duties and chose to keep sanders. they decided with their hearts and not was is good for the city. just stop and think of the situation. the gun toting drunk was told to go back to his house. what would have happened if the gun toting drunk got drunker throught the night, got mader and mader, drunker and drunker, and then went to the pd the next morning and took his frustrations out on what ever cop was there. more than likely it would not have been sanders.

This council seems to be hell bent on turning back the progress, hard work and sacrifice that has been done the last five years. I don't know if it is deliberate or if they are too inept to realize what they are doing. They have broken the morale and spirit of every department of the city. While they have done some good, their micro-management, undermining, spying, accusatory comments, promotion of the incompetent, punishment of the proficent, gossip and ingratitude has made the work environment within the city departments a living hell. This can result in a reduction of secvice, less saftey and more expence for the general public. This forum will help remove the scales from the eyes of the unsuspecting public and force the council to be accountable for their despicable actions. We must also praise them when they do the right thing as well. WATCH AND REPORT!

Was anyone notified of the board meeting held in the parking lot of city hall last night between 7 & 7:30PM? Well they met there and a quorum was present. THATS RIGHT ALDERMEN WE ARE WATCHING!One of my neighbors was driving home from Rameys and saw you out there. We also know about your meetings at the corner of Main & Washington, or behind the new Fire Station, or by South Park and other places. All one has to do is go about their own business driving around town to see them together. In all my years here I can't remember council members spending so much time with each other and spawning so much trouble and grief for so many people. They seem pridefull and intoxicated with their new found power, but they lack the wisdom, character and foresight to exersize this power with the proper respect to those who have been entrusted for so long to operate, maintain and protect the city. They ignore or just don't seek the counsel of those who do have experience, trust and wisdom. Instead, they act upon their own counsel, a political or vengeful agenda, favoritism and blatant disregard for the public who they obviosly think will not find out. YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND OUT!

So when is the next meeting? If it is packed and a few are blogging into their laptops that will get their attention. They have done what they have done because of secrecy and a lack of solidarity. Nothing needs to be said of them, just watch and listen. We can come back here and make plans.

Other people need to run for these offices. Sounds like there are some people here. I hesitate to put forth any good ideas as I don't want them to steal them and take the credit.

Still sneaking around meeting are we? Still hoping nobody finds out about the August Feint? Too late now. It is out of your hands now. See if you can guess what happens next. You won't like it.

You know, there were 2 counci persons seen talking in a parking lot, is that not a quorum now that one of them are deceased. If more than 1/2 meet or get together, that is a quorum.

Understand the people of Seymour want to see things based on facts. How can this be possible when Kenny Rogers, Head Janitor Cop Wanna Be and the Ole Woman meet in secret? Maybe the Attorney General would like to know about the likes of these three meeting at various locations. Funny thing is they think people aren't watching, but WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE and WHAT YOU ARE DOING. How dare them to hold secret meetings and then lie about what they are doing. myOmy

I just called city hall and I was told the board meets tonight at 6:00. This is a PUBLIC meeting. I know this is short notice but I called this morning and got the answer. When I say PUBLIC meeting this is not one of the meetings at the corner, or near the park or behind the fire dept that has been referenced. They CANNOT turn people away, it is a PUBLIC meeting not a SECRET meeting!!

So the next public meeting is the 21st of Oct. We need to remind people and to be there.

The public meetings are the only ones that legally count. There are minutes taken. They can plot on street corners, but that's what it is:plotting.
