JJo you are so STOOOOOOPID! The lesson is that an adult should have been present. Second, you never pour gasoline in to a fire, it trails that liquid.

Oh... My....Okay at what point does DCF step in? The kid was already paralyzed from a SHOOTING. Now they leave her with a bunch of kids who are pouring gasoline on a fire... and worse no one in this insane-asylum even knows enough English to say the word HELP?

Any bets on how long it will take a blood sucking lawyer to suggest a lawsuit because the 911 operator was not bi-lingual?

Why is everyone so negative? That's why this world is so crazy!! This poor girl was burned. Negligence...YES!! Ignorance, definately!?! I am sorry to hear this happened to her. It is truly heartbreaking. But I am more worried about the lame people have nothing better to do with their time than to make "dumb" comments!! Get a LIFE!!

OK - for one thing they are all obviously idiots. It's one thing to have a bonfire.... but to park an invalid next to it???? HELLO!!!
Then to pour gasoline on a fire? Wow - what a bunch of freakin braniacs!
Last but not least, their were probably a bunch of illegal aliens present, so they all took off when people were dialing 911.

You are probably going to win that bet. Two things we have plenty of in this day and age are blood sucking lawyers and a really dumb jury pool.

Other possibilities are that the gas can was "faulty", and/or didn't have "warnings in other than English" that "gasoline is flammable"

But the possibilities are really endless when we are dealing with frivolous lawsuits.

I bet you will catch hell for that one but this is the first post of yours that hasn't made me want to slap you.

I am sorry for this poor girl but gotta agree the whole family should be deported before they start having "accidents" on someone else.

Poor girl. It's a shame some people have no sympathy. Can you imagine being a 16 yr old girl (an ALREADY paralyzed 16 yr old girl) and then your body and your face is being burned? I hope that she will be okay and that the severity of the burns are not as horrendous as this sounds.

Who said there were no adults? The sentinel does tend to leave out details.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aquarius

Someone is being bombastic and overbearing, and you don't like it. You aren't prepared to take their behavior lying down, but standing up to them is likely to result in a rip-roaring row. Well, it seems that the row is almost inevitable, and perhaps that's just as well because it won't do you any good to swallow your anger or tolerate this person's boorishness for much longer.
