Sorry to hear about him dying. RIP.

But motorcycles are death traps. I would never drive one, especially in Orlando with all the crappy drivers out there.

What does his profession have to do with the accident? You keep mentioning he was a firefighter ..........do you mention that someone was a book keeper or a fry cook when they meet the same death? And, he wasn't on duty so he didn't die "in the line of duty."

Another drunken driver has taken the life of a great guy. Nothing will bring this hero back to us but hopefully, the slimeball drunken or doped up driver will spend life in prison.
My prayers and condolences to this man's family and fellow firefighters.

You must have tried to become a firefighter and failed!

Your an idiot. The race of a person has nothing to do will there actions. It a choice that each individual makes. To assume that because he way drunk based on his name is ridiculous. It is saddening that I person has died, and in no way am I justifying his actions. Wait for the facts..... age, poor vision, medical. Base your comments on the individual not the race.

to: and he was a firefighter...maybe because cooks and book keepers don't put their lives on the line...maybe because the same types of drunks that killed him still roam the streets and firefighters still fell the guilt when they can't save a childs father. Maybe I'm wrong, but those few that can save a life and keep a family together are the ones who deserve to be on the front page.

I hope they give him the honor he deserves, whether off duty or not.

Uh, hello. A cook DOES NOT put his/her life on the line day in and day out. The fact that he is a firefighter should be RESPECTED. The same goes for law enforcement officers as well. May you rest in Sweet Heavenly Peace. Thank you for your service.

I believe Mr. Priester was a good man and for his loss we are all saddened. My condolences to his loved ones.

The rest of you "heros - firefighters" need to get over yourselves and your false belief that you are entitled to more respect than any of the rest of us. The jobs you do are important, but just being a firefighter does not grant you hero status. You all are your own worst enemy. The public is getting fed up with your attitudes. Heros are those that do heroic acts and don't scream like little babies to be recognized for it. Get over yourselves.

You sound pathetic.

Yes he was a hero, he saved lives for a living, can a bookkeeper or fry cook match that? Whether you like it or not they are special people. If your going to complain then quit wasting your time and go somewhere else.

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas. You're certainly all set for a great time, and you'll want everyone else to enjoy themselves as much as possible. You'll probably eat and drink too much but, hey, it's Christmas! Isn't such excess par for the course?
