As a retired officer with almost 20 years on the street I want to say I am sorry that this POS wore a badge. It is persons like him that puts good officers through unecessary ridicule. I hate officers like him and always will. Good riddance you useless scum.

The good thing is that this was taken care of quickly, with (seemingly) no cover-ups. It is when these investigations are dragged out and nothing comes of them that people lose faith in the police.

Good riddance! This man is a disgrace to law enforcement.

Disgusting.
Yes - a total disgrace. |

Oh my word, a sworn officer of the law in trouble...no say it isn't so. Another one bites the dust. And you wonder why I stay as far away from law enforcement types as possible, they are dishonest to begin with, dishonesty is a huge part of their job. In order to be a cop, you have to know how to lie and cheat to begin with.

I love it when the tables get turned on the one doing the dirty deed. The GBI agent should be commended for a job well done.

The fact that this incident drew the GBI's attention suggests that it's happening all over the place. I doubt this is an isolated incident across the state. But, the arrest by the GBI is a sentinel event that should lead to the curtailment of activities by other officers who might be engaging in similar behaviors, including basic intimidation and menacing without robbery.

not all bad cops are caught...
how many commit crimes are protected by the blue curtain .. |
huh? when did senoia police start arresting criminals?

"We would like to assure our citizens that they're going to continue to receive the same professional and ethical service today, and tomorrow and the next day, that they have in the past." Ok, so we can continue to plan to be harrassed by Cops in Senoia??
"Times don't stop because of setbacks of this nature." What? What a stupid quote. Maybe if they did away with the rediculous speed traps in the area there would be less chance of this occuring. Senoia Cops have always done whatever they wanted. They do not operate under the law. They do not Protect and Serve the Citizens - they take advantage every chance they get. Wake up people and take back control from unethical leaders. |

It pisses me off that when ever people read the word "hispanic" or "latino" in the news you automatically assume the person is here illegally. My parents were both born in the Dominican Republic, they got their visas came to the US and became citizens and i was born here along w/ my brother and 2 sisters. we are hispanic and we are citizens. stop being so narrow minded!
Funny that you mention speed traps. Let's analyze those words; speed trap. If you weren't speeding, it wouldn't be a trap would it? There are no such things as speed traps. There are officers who enforce the posted speed limit, which from your ranting, you must have been on the receiving end of some of those tickets. A few parting words. Spell Check, learn it, love it, use it. |

Mad, they are ignorant people! I am also an American or better said a Cuban-American who also gets pissed when ignorant people "assumes" that all hispanics or latinos are here illegally......You know what they say about the word assume...never assume because you make an a-- out of you and me!!
Maybe they aren't caught now....but they will be. They can't hide forever behind their badge. They get cocky and arrogant and end up messing up and that's when they get caught.
Welcome to America! All i can say. |

That is one ugly, bald-headed redneck. I hope he gets a cell with some seven-foot homo with no teeth...

I agree with Concerned Citz, and I am a former police officer, married to an active police officer! Senoia is very well known for its speed traps. My son got one for 8 miles over the limit and when I went in to pay it the line was very long and I noticed that everyone was either paying $150 or $200, this was a year or two ago, his was the $150, so I asked the woman at the window what's up with the same pricing, she said it has always been this way, just depends on the difference of the speed or the area?? that you were pulled over on? Come on people, you are no longer out in the boondocks there are people moving to your area and soon this crap will half to change. And yes, Joe, I no longer drive thru the town of Senoia nor does my son, just take the long way around! Save $$$

Senoia is absolutly a speed trap. The city code says the speed limit is 45 but the signs are posted 35. Go to Senoia's own website and pull up the code and look at Rockaway Road. Ask the Mayor why this is? Ask the police? Show it to the Judge. They will just say gimmie your money. Senoia is a very nice small town. Its a shame that the mayor and council use the police to shake down the citizens.
