In the summer of 2009, 19-year-old Natasha Bass drove - alone - 1,070 miles from Greenville, South Carolina, to Montreal, Quebec.

You need to take a closer look, money and citizenship, america needs us more than thoes, take a look over america before you start somewhere else. We have the hungry and homeless at this time of need, right.here in america , just pick a state,you can't lose. I mean really, after a hundred years of aid to 3rd world countries and it's still the same,what do you think ? maybe we have helped to much.

Not sure who is the bigger twit. This naive and pompous little girl, or the fool writing the article. Montreal is cosmopolitan urban city, full of variety and sophistication, beyond the ken of these little pumpkins.
By all means, go as a tourist, or to learn another language (most folks are bi or tri lingual), but to thing that this child has to save the city from what? Provincialism? Please!!!
Enjoy the arts, wonderful cathedral, fine dining and shopping, or even take a trip to Quebec city and see the most beautiful city in North America. Learn of its rich culture and history.
Sadly, people like these two, make people turn away from the church!
