How is that done? Isn't there a thin little metal strip inside that has to snap from heat? Would a lighter do it?

more like a cherry bomb in the toliet that blew up and busted the pipes and flood several rooms. guess those teens are going to alternative school after that.

It says sprinklers - which could be set off by a lighter held close to the bivalve. Cherry bombs flushed down a toilet was done even back when I was going to school. Usually the student restrooms were on the lower floor in a multi-story school. So damage was done primarily below the basement...

I hope these kids will be forced to pay for any and all damages caused by the water. They should be made to pick up litter beside the roads and all the aluminum that they pick up can be cashed in and the proceeds therefrom used to pay for the damages. Then at least 90 days jail time. Upon their release from jail, they should receive a good butt-whipping...just as a reminder.

I know some1 that goes to school at this high school. they put a cherry bomb in the toliet and it busted the pipes causing flooding to the bathroom and several classrooms on the second floor. the new building opened last year. both teens are being prosecuted, but since theyre juvees the records will be closed at 18 and a clean record. sucks

Not A FELONY, and the only two categories crimes are listed in are misdemeanors or felonies, so yes it is a misdemeanor.still wont get much of a sentence and if they do once they turn 17 the juenile file is sealed like it never existed. GET YOUR facts right
