So, who found this woman? Surely the son wasn't the only person keeping up with whether she was alive or dead. I hark to Wesley Lawrimore in Georgetown, SC who was found guilty of "murder by neglect" of his mother. Where are the other relatives, neighbors or friends. All of her acquaintances can't have died off. More than one person is responsible for this. What a crock. Arrest all of the people who spoke to her in the last 6 months. She can't have been kept in a box, where people couldn't see her if they wanted to. And "wanted to" is the key word. Someone else should take responsibility also.

We are seeing more and more of these incidents witht he elders, and it makes me sick. The caretakers that do these things are only there to drain bank accounts or collect social security, they could care less about their parents. It is also amazing that no friends had come forward to the police to have them check on this lady, so they are also at fault. I hope someday I am on a jury for this type of thing, because they would swing from the tree or be treated the same way, no food, A/C etc. I feel eye for eye is the way to go. YOU SCUM BAG

I don't think it matters who else knew, it was his mother. In an age where people are always looking for someone else to pick up thier slack; this guy should be the poster boy. It is not the county or state's responsibility; that is the woman who gave him life. Shame on him.

Are you stupid? Arrest everyone that saw her in the last 6 months. If the son was responsible put him in prison as long as he's not simple. If he's mental then maybe he needs help also other than that lock him up.
