Are the tribal members really stupid or are these guys giving them so much money under the table they don't really care what happens to the rest of it????

OR ARE THEY AFRAID THEY WILL "DISAPPEAR" IF THEY TRY TO VOTE THEM OUT???

SURELY they see how the FAT cats are living!

If they fed the Cypress bros and Osceola to the gators there would be more for everyone then!

Get a clue here Seminoles!

Osceola obviously ISN'T afraid of the IRS...he's certainly been toying with them long enough!!! Sorta thumbing his nose at them I would say!

KEEP IT COMING.........THICK, DEEP, DARK, STINKING, CORRUPTION!
LET'S HAVE A SHAKE DOWN!!!!!!

That is what happens when your on top of the world... you have only one way to go....down and out and someone younger and smarter comes along and does the same thing!! The IRS gets enough taxes from members so if he hasn't paid his that is his problem! Miccosukee don't pay taxes on their millions either!

What I find interesting is how a number of people commenting on the Tribe in the past insisted that Indians don't have to pay taxes. Well I guess this article proves them wrong. The Seminole Tribal members as well as other Indians do pay income tax. Even though currently Max Osceola owes money he has paid in the past as well as all the other Tribal members.
Let's ask for the tax returns of the Sentinel's staff. Oh right. It's none of our business.

Osceola is greedy and uses the cover of "stole our land" as he literally steals from the tribe.

Truly shameful.

Max works hard for the Tribe and if he failed to pay what he owes to the IRS I know he will pay his way.Its funny how all you people say Seminoles dont pay taxes. The only positive to come from all this is we are responsible for paying taxes. And just like any big bussiness what do you think the owners do with all there money buy nice homes and help there family. That is all we are guilty of.Please vist the Hard Rock and dont forget you Visa card.

Seems there is not much difference with tribes and so-called "Italian families".
Hopefully the IRS will get more agressive.

First of all it's a joke the money the tribe and especially a select few are getting for them doing what. They just happened to be in the right place and time. None of the Indians really work at all and they just sit back and collect their monthly checks while mostly the white man handle all of the business side. I really would like to see people stop spending all of their money supporting them at the casino. All of this BS for something that happened many many years ago and way before they were even born.

There are enough places to go now ya it may be a few more miles but who cares. I haven't been back to cocconut creek since the isles opened! All the dealers complain about how their treated. Why does the Sun sentienl have a hard on for the Tribe when our own government is far more worse then some 12 indians?

Lets report on the fact that Charlie crist promised to lower taxes, but instead gave us free Mc Donlads one time a month. Oh thats right, because Sun Sentinel is part of the problem.

Let me get this straight. He owes more than $900,000 to the IRS. Ken Jenne owed $40,000 to the IRS. He paid IN FULL and still went to prison for a year. Osceola keeps earning money and racking up a bigger IRS bill.

I am not condoning what Jenne did ... but it doesn't add up fellas. Guess it really does pay to be a Republican Indian.

Sounds like someone has been letting these people get away without paying their fair share way too long.....If I don't pay my fair share, I end up with no share at all.

The people who abuse the system always have an excuse....we owe them for all that happened in the past. Just how long are we supposed to pay these morons so we can move on?

Sorry but I owe no-one for anything that has happened before my time. My ancestors have, in every generation since the 1700s, given their lives to make this a free country. DEBT PAID IN FULL.

Well. running Native American's under the bus is all fine and dandy, but wouldn't it be a little more interesting if the Sun Sentinel would go after "OUR" elected officials, like local, and state government, or are there payoffs being made so that the common man and woman is not made aware of the free tax ride our "elected" officials are receiving!!!???

Everybody needs to pay their fair share when it comes to taxes no matter if you are indian or not. The IRS needs to grow some balls and enforce the penalties for not paying.

Stole your land ? That like bitter blacks still whining about slavery. Yes, it sucked and it was bad...but get over it already ! Same with you ugly indians....you are a new generation and you are now skating by easily while everyone else actuallly WORKS for their money. GET OVER IT and be happy....I;m sure I would be if money was pouring in like it is with you greedy indians.
