I doubt very seriously this will be your last comment. Usually a dose of nothing but the truth will usually shut up an idiot. But I just don't think you have reached that point yet. This is to MainSt: Bandy does a good job in the point of "feeling like he is owed something" by taxpayers. Pleeeeeeaaase spare me. They created him a job while he is supposed to be on suspension. Still gets same rate of pay ($9.50 hr) all paid by taxpayers. Now just how fair do you think that is? AND we all supplement his income with several hundreds of dollars a month in food stamps plus govt aid. Everytime I see his wife she looks perfectly capable of working herself and contributing to society instead of draining it for all they can. They are just sucking the system. Guess the Burney's feel like they are entitled to it because they sure are getting it!!!!!!!!!!

Well MainSt, I am glad you think so highly of chief. Yes he is a very good person and has given Bethel 15 -16 years of loyal and dedicated service. Why don't you ask mayor this question? Why didn't Bandy have to go searching for another job? Full time positions are supposed to be advertised in newspaper and then voted on by the board. Why did Bethel "create" a position for Bandy? Why is Bandy not still suspended? When did the board vote on abolishing the police department? What is Kay's attraction to Bandy? Bobby Gray already said Bandy was working, and has been working full time in another department at same rate of pay. I am just curious because you seem to be so full of "explanations" but no answers. Or you give stupid answers. Both officers were suspended until 5/7/2012 meeting. Why did she put one to work immediately, full time and leave the other one hanging? Do you think that is fair? Do you think it is ethical? You have a man that has given 15 - 16 years of dedicated and loyal service to Bethel Springs and they treat him like shit. Who says Bethel cannot pay police department? Bobby Gray? That was not even addressed at Monday's meeting. They just adjourn and leave people standing there knowing that dip shit Bandy is already, and has been working anyway. Has not cost him a damn thing. They all should be ashamed of themselves for the way they have done the chief. I know my location shows Jackson but I live in Bethel and I do vote. Kay better wake up. You do not treat someone like chief that way and expect respect in return. You will only get what you give. By the way, do not forget Bandy will have his day in court tomorrow for the criminal trespassing charges. Hope they don't suck up to him to because he was an officer of the law and should conduct himself as such at all times, on and off duty. He did not do that. All of you in city hall and all of you alderman's have a long road ahead of you.

Someone stole all my signs right out of my yard & building. I really don,t think that is right, i am sitting up till I catch them, gona shot at them, but not hit them.
