Nothing wrong with this, people ride around with dogs on laps, a pet is a pet.

I have seen a few people around here walking around with their snakes with them. Better than a snot nosed dog, or mangy cat, at least a snake does not stink or make a bunch of noise.

I personally don't like snakes but I don't think anything is wrong with it as long as this gentleman refrains it from showing any aggression toward others.

I'd take my Burmese Phython to work with me..made for an interesting day.

I used to show my snake to the ladies at work, many of them liked it. But that ended when I got a call from HR and a few mad husbands.

You need to stay out of the pool. That will stop their "snake in the pool" problem.

Yes I do, but I'd have to go digging for them, lol, It's been awhile ago.
I like snakes, I think they're unique and beautiful. Those garden snakes sound pretty.

What is wrong with dogs, or cats? Sounds to me that you don't like dogs or cats. How can anyone be sure that the snake won't get lose? Think of the danger that this could cause.

I ran over a snake in front of my house a couple of days ago.

I hate snakes. But if people want to keep them as pets then more power to them. I wouldn't want it crawling around in my yard but as long as it's around his neck then good for him. Although isn't that how those snakes kill their prey. I would be afraid it would decide I was food.

Hey ladies, I have a snake too. If you pet it for a while it will spit at you.

I know this man personally, i live in the same area, he has been to my house several times.. he has been riding around with this snake forever.. nobody has ever gotten hurt or nothing has ever come from it.. just people who don't have anything better to do want to cause problems for him.. the snake is always detained.. if people can walk down the street with a dog then there is no different.. it's his pet.. peoples cats run all over creation digging in garbage cans and sitting on my cars.. you don't see anything being done about that....

honestly i know this man and i have for many years and i know this snake i have held it plenty of times, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with him riding around on HIS bike with HIS snake as long as he isn't trying to put this snake around someones shoulders without their permission!!! people need to grow up and stop acting like p*s*i*s!!!!!

What danger? Watch cartoons and movies much? They don't attack people, they don't eat people, they don't chase people, they are not venomous. I get hurt worse picking berries than being bitten by a snake 8' long or less, and believe me, you hardly ever see a captive boa over 5-6'. They only wrap around and squeeze people in movies and cartoon, or when you grab them by the neck (so they can get leverage to pull their head out of your hand), or with really stupid people hand feeding rats to their snake.
Most communities, however, have regulations about snakes in public because of the fright factor.
